La Redempcio Dels Peixos

A young man from Barcelona, Marc, arrives in Venice to confront his father, Paco, who he has not seen since he was two years old. This sudden encounter with his forgotten son both shocks and pleases Paco. Marc, initially filled with long repressed resentments, discovers in Paco a warm and welcoming individual. Father and son seem to be moving towards a mutual feeling of connection and understanding. But Paco’s semi-lies, his complex past, and his unclear present, quickly transforms their new relationship into a muddy pool of emotional uncertainties. Marc’s suspicions increase when he meets Paco’s opaque business partner Berto. Adding to Marc’s emotional confusion is his meeting with the flirtatious Carlotta, the daughter of Lucia, Paco’s current companion. Marc’s stay in Venice will bring him on an emotional journey that will bring his own ethics into question.
