•Dates: Sunday August 1, 2020 -Sunday, August 8, 2020 •Confirmation number: # R152328
General Information Located 25 miles southwest of Charleston, this island is primarily a private luxury beach, tennis and golf resort, serving vacationers 3 seasons out of the year. Kiawah Island boasts 10 miles of pristine beach and consists of two areas commonly referred to as East Beach and West Beach. Behind the gate, many private beach accesses are available to property owners, their guests, and renters, making this an ideal location for socially distancing. Beachwalker County Park is the only public beach access on the island and is located on the west end (West Beach) of Kiawah Island. The award winning Sanctuary and Kiawah Island Golf Resort takes up most of the island’s 10,000 acres and offers a plethora of premium accommodations, recreational facilities and restaurants. It has the feel of a residential (gated) community. In fact, there are many permanent residents living in the resort. Although known for its (5) acclaimed golf courses spread throughout the resort, it has also won numerous awards from Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast as one of the best Family Vacation spots in the country. Offering everything from water sports, biking, tennis, and world-class golf to great shopping and dining, Kiawah Island promises the perfect mix of play and peace. 2
