The earth constructions represent an important built heritage of architecture in Brazil. B r o u g h t b y t h e Portuguese, this constructive method is loosing space to more conventional methods. This workshop rescues some of the most important earth construction techniques, which ensure the use of local raw materials and great thermal comfort.

Made of cardboard tubing, this workshop was a practice on paper structures and all the process involving its construction.

Designed for low-income families, these apartment buildings provide low-cost housing in a central urban area. Taking into account the existence of new family configurations, there are three different type of apartments. The project also includes commercial rooms and a public square by the ground floor.
