A P ERSONAL N OTE

Dear Friend,

Do you realize that God wants all who believe in Him and trust in Jesus to abound in abundance? Abundance of health. Abundance of joy. Abundance of wealth. Abundance of peace. You can arrive at the place where you abound in every area of your life, despite your surroundings. Others may live in a perpetual state of "going through" but you can live in a state where grace abounds. II Corinthians 8:7; 9:8. Jesus declared that He came so that we might have and enjoy life more abundantly. John 10:10. Faithfulness and fellowship are primary keys to living an abundant life. The Bible tells us that the faithful man will abound with blessings. Proverbs 28:20. Your heavenly Father wants you in a place where your desire is to converse and commune with Him on a daily basis. He wants you abounding in His abundance! In this issue, we provide an insightful article called, "Abounding in Abundance" which describes how you can do just that. We are also delighted to introduce you to Reverend Krystal Patrick, a spirit-filled believer and an able minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has written an uplifting article showing how you as a believer can maintain a positive attitude and speak the things you desire to happen in your life in Jesus' name. God promises that He will do so much more in your life than you could ever dream or imagine (Eph.3:20). These topics are addressed in the article, "A Positive Attitude and the Name of Jesus." Sister Gail Robinson Monk continues to flow with the anointing of God on her life to minister truths regarding spiritual discipline, particularly as it relates to the physical body. As a result, we have included a section of the magazine called, "Healthy Living: Losing Weight by the Anointing of God," in which Sister Gail shares practical insights from the Word of God that will help keep your temple in top shape so that you can do all that the Lord is calling you to do. We pray that this issue will encourage you, challenge you, and minister mightily to your needs. We pray that you will maintain a positive attitude, speak things into existence using the awesome name of Jesus, and begin to abound in the abundance of blessings the Lord has for you and your house. Read and be blessed! Love,

Salvation Prayer

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .......................... If you have never received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to take that vital step right now. Your salvation is very important to God so much so that He gave His only Son to die for your sins (John 3:16). God isn’t willing that any should perish, and that includes you (II Peter 3:9). So please pray this prayer aloud from your heart:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for sending Jesus into the world. I realize that I need a Savior. Your Word says, “...whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:2). I am calling on You, Jesus, to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. Forgive me of all my sins and wash me clean. According to Your Word in Romans 10:9-10, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I believe with my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Therefore, I am saved, and I thank you for giving me eternal life. If you have just made Jesus your Lord and Savior, please find a good church that will teach you the Word of God. We also invite you to contact us. We would love to encourage you and provide you with materials to help in your new walk with Jesus!

Angela Minor I have learned so much through this ministry! I have learned how to allow the Holy Spirit to lead me and how to keep my body under subjection. One day after Bible study, Sister Gail Monk prayed over me and laid hands on me concerning the issue of weight control. At the time, I was on cholesterol lowering medication, which the doctor said I would have to take for the rest of my life. However, the bondage of overeating was broken when that prayer was prayed. Everything Sister Gail prayed has come to pass. Within three months, I lost more than 40 pounds, and I have been able to keep it off God's way! The doctor took me off the medication! I have learned how to apply the Word of God to maintain my freedom. I have learned that I do not have to be bound to anything! To God be the glory!

TESTIMONIES Dorothy Judkins During a recent IMF Bible study, Rev. Steele dedicated the hour to prayer requests. At that time, I had two prayer requests; however, I only gave one, which was to pray for the American POWs in Iraq (all were released, praise God!). The other request was for me to get another car. Another sister at the Bible study class heard me say that I had not given the other request for the car, and she told me that God had already taken care of the request for the car. The Bible study was on Thursday. On Friday, the Lord led me to an Internet site called Autovilla.net, and there was my black 2000 Mercedes Benz, fully loaded, am/fm radio, telephone system, leather interior, etc. The price was $19,000. I checked Kelly Blue Book and it retails at $26,000. I drove away from the dealership with a car worth much more than I paid for it! Thank you for teaching us the Word. My faith has increased to the point where I can call good things into my life. I plan to get a personalized license plate, which will read TNK U GOD.

In this article, I want to address the importance of eating a fruits-only breakfast in the morning. The Holy Spirit revealed the benefits of eating only fruits for breakfast during a period when I was fervently seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord. I used to eat big, hearty breakfasts on a daily basis. A typical breakfast would include scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon or sausage (sometimes both), potatoes or grits (again sometimes both), and pancakes! Now that was just breakfast! Oh yes, I could get my "eat" on and I enjoyed every moment of it, too! However, my enjoyment was shortlived. The effects of that heavy eating would manifest at the most inopportune times. By mid-morning I would feel sluggish, tired and ready to take a nap. I would push myself at work because I knew I had to perform; however, by the time I arrived home in the evening I had lost all steam. With a husband and three children, I honestly could not afford to go home depleted of energy. I simply had too much to do at work, at home and in ministry. I even considered buying energy pills but decided against it because I've never liked taking pills. I was unable to stop myself and make the necessary changes to alter my lifestyle. In my journey to draw even closer to the Lord, He told me plain and simple to "Stop it!" I could hear the Lord speaking to me time and time again very clearly in my ear, "Stop it! Just stop it!" "You are grieving My Spirit and cutting the anointing off your life." I was challenged with these questions: How can I run this race for Jesus if I'm not physically fit? How can I always be ready for ministry opportunities

and minister effectively to others if I am always sluggish, tired, heavy and out of shape? How will people know from my life that God is a Healer if I don't walk in the healing that He accomplished on the cross for me over 2000 years ago? Oh, glory to God, when I humbled myself and yielded to the Holy Spirit I received brand new life all over again! When I finally yielded to the Holy Spirit's promptings and began eating fruit only for breakfast, I began to have more energy. I was always aware that fruit was good for you; however, I did not realize the awesome nutritional value of eating fruit every day, especially in the morning on an empty stomach. The Lord led me to information concerning the nutritional benefits of eating fruit for breakfast. I learned that fruits and vegetables are made of approximately 70% - 80% water and my daily diet should consist of at least 80% fruit and vegetables. Since the human body consists of approximately 80% of water we should eat foods that contain approximately 80% water. Fruit and vegetables fit that criterion. The water in the fruit transports the vital nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fiber and enzymes through the body and cleans out toxic waste, which is a vital part of health and losing weight. Just as we need to bathe our external body we also need to clean our internal body. We need to eliminate toxic waste from our bodies (detoxification). The reason the Lord led me to eat fruit for breakfast was to help me to detoxify my body and at the same time receive the nutrients and energy that I needed. Whatever we eat has to be digested. A steak for instance can take 810 hours to digest, while a fruit salad only takes about 30 minutes! Our bodies exert a lot of energy digesting food and we lose a lot of precious energy eating foods that take a long time to digest.

LOSINGWEIGHT by the Anointing of God Fruit should be eaten in the morning on an empty stomach and at least 20 to 30 minutes before the consumption of other foods. Fruit that is consumed with other foods will cause fermentation in your stomach and the nutrients will be lost. I recommend you read up on the many more benefits of adopting a diet that includes of daily fruits. God took me back to the beginning to Genesis 1:29: "God said, 'See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of the earth and every tree whose fruit yields seed to you it shall be for food.'" I've learned that if you stop fighting and begin to exercise faithful obedience, you can ride the grace of God and His grace will enable you to overcome those challenging areas that may be difficult in your own strength to change. II Cor.12:9. God will teach you how to tell your flesh "No!" when it wants to have its own way. Rom.5:20. Don't go against His promptings, because you shut down His grace from operating in you. You will struggle again to stop the bad habits until you connect again to His grace. Do not frustrate the grace of God. Galatians 2:21. Consult your doctor about incorporating a fruitsonly breakfast into your diet.* God will help you and the results will amaze you! *Note: I am not a doctor. I am only sharing what I received from the Spirit of God. Please consult your physician before embarking on any diet program.

p r o s p e r. Psalm 1:1-4

God has called us to live a life full of abundance of good things. Abundance of joy. Abundance of health. Abundance of love. Abundance of good relationships. Abundance of met needs. Abundance of peace. Abundance of finances. Jesus put it this way, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy, I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)”. John 10:10 [Amplified Version]. Thank God, our destiny is not to live a life where we lack. We don’t have to lack joy, godly relationships, time, energy, resources, patience, health, finances, or anything else God says is ours to possess! As you read this you may be saying, "Wait a minute! I’m lacking finances. I’m lacking health, I’m lacking a satisfying job. My life is far from abundant." Well, thank God, you do not have to remain in that condition! The Word of God instructs us on how we can live a life where we abound in His abundance.

DELIGHT DAILY IN THE WORD There are no two ways about it: to abound in the abundant life God has prepared, you must develop a delight, a zeal, a desire, and a love for God and His Word. God’s Word provides answers to absolutely every issue of your life. As a child of God, you have the inheritance of His Word. Everything the Word of God says you can have is yours to possess. Psalm 1:1-4 [Amplified Version] says: "Blessed (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and mockers] gather. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord; and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without

BE WILLING TO CHANGE One of our biggest challenges is to agree to change and correct what the Word of God shows us to correct. You may find yourself saying you cannot do it; you’re too weak. You don’t have the mental toughness or discipline to stop overeating, overspending, fornicating, viewing pornography, drinking, or participating in other negative behaviors. You may think you cannot get up early and pray daily to your heavenly Father, or make time for Bible study, or obey God in different areas. If you keep seeking what you believe you lack, you are guaranteed to find it. Matthew 7:7. It is time to stop agreeing with helldriven excuses and get on with abundant living! Is anything too hard for the Lord? Genesis 18:14. This requires your decision to be strong and courageous and face what needs to be corrected. Joshua and others were instructed to be strong and courageous. Joshua 1:6,7,9. Strength is the power to withstand strain, force, or stress. It is the power to resist attack. Courage is the quality of spirit that enables you to face a challenge with confidence and resolve. Never forget, yielding by faith at the point of seeming limitation ushers you into the flow of the grace of God. In the grace of God, you enjoy assistance, strength, ability, and empowerment that you never knew could operate in you. You make the decision and God gives you the power. You must exercise faith to move in the proper direction, disconnecting from the things that prevent you and connecting to the things that promote you. Make the decision to be strong and courageous. When the Word of God reveals areas requiring correction, understand that God has already placed in you the ability to exercise faith to believe Him and to believe in His ability to bring about the change that must occur. But you must be willing to change. YOU WON’T FEEL THE HEAT! Change occurs as you replace what is in you with the Word of God. Ingest the Word as more vital to you than food. Listen to good teaching tapes. Attend a Bible believing, Spirit-filled church. Attend the

God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead without substance] which the wind drives away." The person whose delight and desire are to study and apply the instructions, the teachings, and principles of God is the person who is happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable. You really want to approach the Word with a commitment to follow it and do what it says, no matter what it takes. This you do by faith. You choose to believe the contents of the Word of God and you make the de-cision, even before you look at a single scripture, that what the Word of God instructs you to do, you will do, no matter what. You ask God for His wisdom, His grace, and whatever else you need to put His Word into practice in your life. As you make the Word of God the absolute authority in every area of your life, you will come to rely on the wisdom of the Word for everything. The Word will become your daily requirement more than the natural food you eat: "Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food." Job 23:12. Many people desire to abound in God’s abundance, but they want to do so on their own terms. You cannot have it both ways. You either have to choose God’s way or be like the chaff, the part of the wheat that is worthless, dead, and without substance. The chaff easily gets blown away. They lose their jobs, their family life is a mess, their finances suffer, they feel constant guilt and shame -- they are easily blown away by the winds of adversity. Enormous frustration and repetitive defeats result when a Christian pushes God’s Word aside and tries to achieve an abundant life on his or her own terms. Psalm 1:1 shows the progressive decline of those who disobey. They start off walking, but they come into contact with and receive the counsel of the ungodly. Then they just stand, paralyzed and inactive. In that place they are right in the path where sinners walk, unable to break free from the sin. From there, they decline to where they fall in a sitting position, comfortable with their ungodliness and joining in with those who mock and scorn. Friend, you must choose: "Choose you this day whom ye will serve." Joshua 24:15. Only those who are willing to follow God and do what He says will eat the good of the land and abound in the abundance God has prepared for them. Isaiah 1:19.

Triumphant Living Seminars and Bible Studies. The Word will take root in your spirit. Begin to speak what the Word says. Commit to do what the Word says no matter what. Now don’t be fooled! What you say and what you do reveal what you trust. You can have all the teachings on every subject in the Bible. You can attend all the seminars from the most anointed men and women of God. You can quote the most appropriate scriptures. But you must be honest with yourself and know what is in your heart. When the rubber hits the road, in the crucible of conflict, when you are experiencing pain in your body, when you are looking at a bank account in overdraft, when you are alone crying for lack of companionship, remember: out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34), and you demonstrate what you trust in by what you do (James 1:18). God gives you the power to resist attack. His grace enables you to face hard places with confidence that He will bring you out of them. You must trust Him. You can only abound in abundance when you trust in the Lord. Jeremiah 17:78 [Amplified Version] says: "[Most] blessed is the man that believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit." Abounding in abundance, hallelujah! When you trust in the Lord, believing the Word, saying the Word, doing the Word, and allowing the Word to change you, that is when you will abound in abundance. Even if the world around is suffering 365 days of drought, your life will flourish! You won’t feel the heat. You will not cease yielding fruit; instead, you will be blessed to be a blessing! Move with God. Spread your spiritual roots by allowing God’s Word to take root in every area of your life. Then begin to live a life abounding with abundance!

“If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land.”

Rev. Krystal Patrick

In the fall of 2000, a friend shared an experience she had with the Holy Spirit that I will never forget. She was faced with several major decisions and had spent a lot of time seeking God for direction. When she least expected it, He lovingly instructed her with these words, "a positive attitude and the name of Jesus." He repeated it several times, "a positive attitude and the name of Jesus." The Holy Spirit went on to explain that one of the keys to her success in life is "a positive attitude and the name of Jesus." He promised that if she would speak those things that she desired to happen in her life in the name of Jesus, as if those things were already done, He would do far more in her life than she could ever dream or imagine (Eph.3:20). As my friend shared, I decided to take hold of the Holy Spirit’s instructions and

apply them to my life. Since that day, each time I have been diligent to apply these principles I have received wonderful benefits and rewards. Now, let’s see what God’s word has to say about the principles of having a positive attitude and speaking in the name of Jesus:

A POSITIVE ATTITUDE FLOWS FROM THE HEART Deuteronomy 30:19 says, I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deu.28:1-68; Rom.8:6).

Joshua 1:8 says, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Psa.1:1-3; Pro. 4: 23; Philp.4:8-9; Lk.6:45; Col 3:17; Jn.16:24; Jam.3:10.)

Two of the most powerful gifts God has given us are the ability to decide (free will) and the ability to imagine (picture, meditate, actively dream in our hearts and minds). With our ability to decide we have the power to choose what we imagine whether it is good or evil. When God says meditate He means to think about, imagine and say what is good. When we conceive a thought in our hearts it will manifest whether it is a good thought or an evil thought. If we see ourselves as people who always have trouble and never seem to move forward in life, it will be difficult to rise above those kinds of circumstances. The way we see ourselves can actually attract or repel the kind of circumstances and people we want in our lives. Many of us are in the habit of seeing negative outcomes in our circumstances but the Holy Spirit is encouraging us to see ourselves and our lives through His eyes as blessed, favored, joyful, and rich with life and all goodness. He wants us to use the faith (which flows from the heart)

Philippians 2:9-11 says, Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Eph.1:16-23; Col.1:918; Rev.1:18.)

Through Christ’s virgin birth by the Holy Spirit, sinless life on earth, ministry to earliest pre-Christian disciples, death, burial, resurrection, ascension into heaven and present-day ministry as King of King and Lord of Lords, the Heavenly Father has crowned Jesus the Supreme God of the entire Universe. This means every person, place, thing, situation and circumstance is subject to His rule and His name. The Holy Spirit is urging all Christians to invite God’s ability into every situation and circumstance of their lives. He has promised to use His Supreme authority on our behalf because He loves us so!

Mark 16:17-18 says, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Lk.10:19; Mt.16:19; Mt.18:18; Jn.16:23-24.)

Jesus Christ delegated the Supreme authority and ability that is in His name to His earliest disciples. He has continued to encourage each generation of Christians to use His delegated authority and ability, even to this day. As Christian believers we also have been commissioned to speak in His name with His authority. When we speak in Jesus’ name, He places His authority and ability behind those words and all things that oppose God’s will for our lives are subject to that name just as if He is right there enforcing what we have spoken as the law. His name with us means that God is with us. APPLICATION: A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND THE NAME OF JESUS Mark 11:22-23 says, And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith inGod. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

that we received when we accepted Christ as our savior to see ourselves and our lives going forward and doing well. God gave us the power to choose the kind of heart we want and we have the ability to choose the images we put into our hearts, minds and mouths. God wants us to live our best lives unto His glory and unto our fullness of joy by these principles and His grace.

action against him with his sling shot in the name of the Lord (1 Sam.17:50-51). When Jairus’ daughter died, Jesus said "she shall be whole . . . she is not dead but sleepeth." He went to her house, commanded her to rise and she came back to life (Lk.8:4142, 49-56). Jesus understood that if He spoke to whatever opposed the will of God in His life that circumstance had to change (Prov.18:21; Job 22:28; Mt.17:20; Mt.21: 18-22).

When we speak to our circumstances in Jesus’ name, our circumstances are also subject to change. Not long ago, I had three months’ worth of work that had to be completed in 30 days and I could not do it. For a few minutes every morning, I started telling the work to be completed quickly with excellence in Jesus’ name and I started working. To my surprise, other workers became bored and asked if they could have some of my work. With their help and God’s help, I finished the project on time and my boss was happy. God is the only one that never changes but all circumstances, even difficult ones, are subject to change. Decide to meditate on God’s promises. Fill your heart, mind and mouth with His promises. Begin to see the circumstances conforming to the word of God. Begin to speak the circumstances that you desire in the name of Jesus as if they have already happened. It may take some time for the change to actually occur but by faith and endurance inherit God’s promises unto His glory and unto your fullness of joy!

Shortly thereafter, she was healed of an arthritic condition known as osteo-arthritis. While in college, Janice accepted the call of God on her life to teach the Word with clarity and simplicity. She taught a weekly Bible study as a member of Campus Crusade for Christ, and continued to teach while in law school. After Janice moved to Washington, DC to practice law, her teaching ministry continued. In 1996, Janice started teaching a weekly noon Bible study at the Agape Bookstore in downtown Washington, DC. By 1999, the teaching ministry had outgrown the capacity of the bookstore, and was moved to the International Monetary Fund. That same year, Janice began receiving requests to minister at churches, conferences, and retreats, both in and outside the Washington metropolitan area. She was ordained through World Missions Ministries Bible College in Arlington, VA. She joined the Bible College faculty in year 2000 and teaches two courses. In 2001, Janice published a book entitled, “It’s Time to Stretch: Moving Into Full Faith in God”. Being a gifted speaker, she ministers in the Washington metropolitan area as well as nationally. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Administration & Management Science from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School. She is married and has two children.

Be Still and Know that I am God Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you will have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]" John 16:33 [Amplified Version.] Psalm 34:19 says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all."

Everyone, at some point in life, faces tribulation, affliction, trials, distress and frustration. Our response to these challenges will determine whether we partake of the triumph of Jesus Christ and overcome, or whether we will allow the challenges to get the better of us. The worst response we can have when faced with challenges is to allow our senses or the circumstances to dominate us. Feelings of anger, bitterness, strife, fear, hopelessness, grief, envy, pain, and so on, may want to rise up within you. If you go with that flow and allow those feelings to dominate, you will bring "confusion and every evil work" right along with those feelings (James 3:14). When the spirit of confusion and when the evil workings of hell show up, matters can go from bad to worse. If you want to walk in the overcoming power of the Lord Jesus Christ, you cannot allow your emotions to take over. When you sense yourself moving in the direction of your senses, this is what you must do: BE STILL! Psalm 46 speaks about how you can triumph even in the midst of a challenge.

Psalm 46 says, in part, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. * * * * He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah." Psalm 46:1-5; 9-11.

When pressures mount, tensions increase, and you don't know which way to turn, it is important to BE STILL and know that God is your refuge and strength, and that He will help you. The word "still" that appears in Psalm 46 is the Hebrew word "rapha." It is the only time the word "still" is translated "rapha" in the Old Testament. "Rapha" is one of the redemptive names of Jesus. Jehovah Rapha means the Lord who heals you. That word "rapha" in Psalm 46 means both "still" and "healing." You see it is necessary to get still before God to let Him heal your condition. A surgeon cannot operate on a jittery, fidgeting patient. That is why patients receive local or general anesthesia. In a similar manner, when challenges come against you, it is crucial to get quiet before God with the understanding that Jesus, The

No one is immune from challenges. If you are breathing, then you will face challenges in your life. This is not a negative confession; it is simply the truth.

Great Physician, will perform in you and for you what needs to be performed to turn that condition around. As you quiet yourself before the Lord, He will make His presence known to you. The Lord will impart revelation knowledge, the medicine of His Word, and the spirit of wisdom, counsel and might. The Lord will change your perspective of the challenge. Your perspective makes the difference between triumph and defeat. The Lord will show you the opportunity in the midst of the obstacle. He will show you your miracle in the midst of the mayhem! Moses learned how to quiet himself before God and receive answers to the many challenges he faced: the Red Sea, the Egyptians, lack of water, lack of food, etc. In fact, it was Moses who said, "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:13-14. On another occasion, Moses said, "Stand still, and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you." Numbers 9:8. Moses understood the importance of shutting out distractions, and in getting still before God in order to receive instructions from Him. So, BE STILL! Get quiet before God and allow Him to perform surgery. Turn off the telephones, beepers, and televisions. Drive to the mountains or a secluded location. Spend time just worshipping the Lord. Do whatever is necessary to declutter your mind and emotions, get quiet before the Lord, and let Him heal your condition. Once you decide to be still and let the Lord operate on your case, you will know that you know that you know that He, indeed, is God!
