SHOWERS IMPACT PAWS COLINAS

5K-9

Saturday April, 20th: Due to inclement weather conditions, the 2024 Paws Colinas 5K-9, presented by the Las Colinas Association in partnership with Irving Marathon Running Series, was canceled.

Despite the ruff weather, a smaller version of the festival continued. Reservoir’s breakfast tacos fueled runners’ appetites while The Pet Treat Truck satisfied pups with unlimited dog biscuits. Heineken Silver kept spirits going with ice-cold beverages.

Attendees mingled with vendors as dogs tested their agility in the Zoom Room obstacle course. Canine Companions, the race beneficiary, introduced two of their service pups-intraining leaving everyone with puppy fever.

Despite the washout, the experience brought participants together for a soggy yet memorable morning. Special thanks to our sponsors: Toyota Music Factory, Toyota of Irving, K-9 Resorts, Heineken Silver, Reservoir, and Zoom Room.
