for the feature film RETURN TO NEVERLAND ~ a sequel to PETER PAN, November 1998, directed by Robin Budd for Walt Disney Canada Exploring the story: Jane finally learns to fly and joins in a joyful celebration with the Lost Boys. Soon, Jane realizes that it’s time for her to go home. Peter Pan offers to escort her back to London. Jane bids fair-well to her Lost Boys and to Neverland as Jane, Peter and Tinkerbell fly into the night above the island paradise.... Transition to London, during the 2nd World war. Early dawn. There are often many ways to tell a story like this and we experimented with several. In these panels we created a version of the end of story in which Jane’s dad returns from the war and finds Jane asleep on her windowsill. Jane is overjoyed to see her dad and blurts out her story of Neverland to him and her mother Wendy. Wendy discovers Peter and Tinkerbell at the window for a heartfelt reunion.
