LIMITLESS LATITUDES The Molokai Strait 75 is designed for serious voyaging and complete comfort. Generous interior volume and standing headroom in the engine room are integral to the design. Intelligent details include Dutch doors for efficient ventilation, extensive implementation of handrails throughout, and a chest-high bulwark. For safety, decks are clutter-free and the hull is built of steel. Portholes are of ship commercial grade ž bulletproof glass with crash covers. Hardware is superb with massive bollards and 6,000-pound winches— both hydraulic and electric. Intelligent design solutions maximize the use of interior space. Sophisticated engineering results in a ride that is comfortable and a yacht of superior strength and safety.

Inspired by the fishing trawlers of Romsdahl, Norway this design is characterized by a relatively clear foredeck, a superstructure set amidships to aft and a round “cruiser stern. The Nabla-style bulb reduces resistance and absorbs pitching energy for a smoother, more comfortable ride. The Molokai Strait 75 will take you where you want to go in safety and comfort. Designed as the larger sister to the Molokai Strait 65, the Molokai 75 is also easy to handle and suitable for owner-operation but gives owners the option of permanent crew, accommodated in the selfcontained crew suite forward.

The guest accommodation configuration is flexible and typically organized as a king master, queen double, and twin. Each stateroom is complete with en suite facilities. Owners have the option of customizing the configuration to their specific needs and interests such as the inclusion of an exercise room. The king master has generous closet space, a large ensuite head with full shower and a complete entertainment center. The head, entertainment center and hanging lockers separate the master stateroom from the engine room for particularly quiet living.

safety and comfort The large foredeck is equipped with a 2,500 lb Marquipt Davit for convenient tender launching. The wrap-around Portuguese walk has a stair that leads down to the foredeck and port and starboard pilothouse entrances. The forward slanting windows produce no reflection and the wind vortex formed by this design makes the surface area nearly rain-free. Five watertight bulkheads divide the hull into six watertight compartments. For owner comfort, a 6-zone, 8-ton air HVAC system by Marine Air provides excellent interior climate controls.

The gourmet galley is gas and electric with a Viking commercial stove, microwave with convection oven, large refrigerator and freezer, stainless steel farm sink, deep draw dishwasher and trash compactor. There is a 4-seat snack bar for late night snacks. Four portholes provide ventilation plus scenic views. The large flybridge is equipped with a secondary helm with Twin Stidd helm chairs, complete controls for the main engines, and bow and stern thruster. For relaxation, there is a large L-shaped settee with table and galley facilities.
