the most spacious flybridge in a yacht of this class

The Deluxbridge™, a standard feature of all Outer Reef models, is the most spacious flybridge in her class. This uniquely designed full-beam flybridge is the ideal place for outdoor cooking and alfresco dining. Another standard feature is the Quiet Roll™ Spray System. Our specially engineered spray rail deflects water away from the hull with a smoother and quieter motion than conventional spray rails. This enhances the quiet ride under way and reduces noise in a rough anchorage.

All Outer Reefs are constructed of hand laid fiberglass with Vacuum Bag infusion to guarantee consistent fiberglass to resin ratios. By using the latest technologies in computer aided design, the Outer Reef team is able to construct all models from only three major molds. Minimizing the number of molds increases the structural integrity of the hull, guarantees a quiet ride and eliminates the possibility of water intrusion. Hull Planking | Outer Reef invested in the original tooling and mold construction to produce a fiberglass hull with the highest gloss finish and the traditional look of a quality motor yacht. Drain Manifold System | All nuisance water from the flybridge to the lower decks drains to the waterline via the drain manifold system. This prevents unsightly streaking of the hull and eliminates the need for numerous through hull fittings. Protection of Running Gear | All Outer Reef yachts feature highly protected running gear with propellers partially recessed into pockets plus the addition of an extra-deep keel. High Quality Stainless Steel | All stainless steel is mirror finished 316 grade stainless steel. Joints are meticulously welded and polished. All stainless is oversized and of stout construction, rivaling anything coming from the finest shipyards in the world. Sea Chests | Outer Reef uses sea chests all raw water intakes for main engines, generators and ancillary equipment that requires raw water cooling. This eliminates the dozens of typical through hull fittings needed to supply raw water to onboard equipment.

Outer Reef yachts are built with an emphasis on comfortable, safe cruising at all times. Concessions are not made to increase speed at the expense of safety. The hand-laid solid fiberglass hull to the waterline provides a better ride when sea conditions become less than ideal. The Outer Reef Pilothouse series is built to allow long passages at an economical fuel burn rate.

The signature of an Outer Reef is her whisper quiet ride under way, even below decks. • All engines and equipment are soft-mounted to eliminate vibration and noise. • All engine rooms are insulated, including the use of multiple layers of sound-deading lead foam. • Underwater exhaust, far aft of the boat while underway reduces decibel levels.
