Pearwood walls and large windows frame sweeping views from the aft and dining salons. Etched glass pocket doors create versatile spaces, intimate or expansive as desired. The lounge area of the dining salon features a concealed large flat screen television and the pair of period Art Deco game tables in the aft salon can be used separately or together for additional dining. The private forward office includes a state-ofthe-art communications system, lounge seating and retractable wide screen LCD television.


is a Yacht of the highest pedigree. The highly respected Abeking & Rasmussen Design and Construction has been updated and enhanced to exacting standards.

In 2006 Naval Architect Bill Langan of Langan Design Associates was engaged to design an extension to the vessel incorporating an open aft deck and effortless water access and jet ski storage. Inside, additional crew quarters and redesigned laundry and lazarette complement existing operational areas. So Taj was repowered to achieve excellent cruising speeds, fuel efficiency and emissions, meeting modern “green” standards. As part of the refit Susan Orsini, of Orsini Design Associates redesigned the interior completed in late 2008 featuring Art Deco and contemporary details and furnishings in warm neutral tones punctuated by “So Taj blue” .

Privately situated amidships, the owner’s stateroom features a king size bed, entertainment center, dressing table and lounge seating. The exquisite his and her onyx and gold bathrooms are separated by an expansive shared steam shower. A walk-in closet, lockers and drawers throughout provide ample storage for a voyage of any length.


Each of the three guest cabins include en suite bathrooms detailed in pearwood and cream marble. Guests may choose between queen and twin bed accommodations. Sophisticated entertainment and communication systems have been implemented throughout for convenience. Satellite television reception is available on LCD televisions in the staterooms and social areas. A computer network includes four workstations, six wireless access points and 10 LAN ports. All interior and exterior spaces are furnished with central and independent music systems. A four camera security system monitors the yacht day and night.


The open Aft Decks and covered upper Fly Bridge feature spacious luxurious outdoor entertaining, optimal sun exposure, and luxurious dining spaces.

The shaded banquette seating areas with hi-low tables on the fly bridge are suitable for cocktails, conversation and dining for twelve. Lounge seating is fully reclinable adding flexibility and function. A wet bar and service area allows easy entertaining and service. On the main level, an open aft deck has dining seating for eight screened from the sun by the bridge above. Central stairs lead to the swim platform aft and spiral stairs provide access to the upper decks. A large comfortable sunning area is included forward on the main deck.

The spacious well appointed Pearwood galley has granite counter tops, commercial refrigerators, freezers and appliances. A Pearwood and granite wet bar/service pantry adjacent to the galley provide convenient service to all areas of the yacht. The raised pilot house features full electronics and navigation systems enabling the vessel to travel and communicate safely around the world.
