2020/2021 has been a strange year for us all and many of us have had to adapt our business and how we run them. I’ve took this time to re evaluate how my business worked for me, what needed to change to help with better time management, business growth, the direction I was heading and how to make more money.

I want to discuss how we can work smarter and gain more, instead of working harder and feeling like have no time for ourselves. The lash industry has so many talented lash trainers who we can aspire to be like and who we can take inspiration from, following good quality pages will help you to find your own lane in this ever growing industry. Take a look at your level and quality of work and be honest with yourself. Is this the standard of work your happy with? or can your do better ?

I continually update my knowledge with online training, read educational/inspirational posts, and practise … remember practise is key to being to able to produce great work. Lashing needs accuracy, patience and lots of love.

Time management was a key thing for me, burnout is very real and effects us all at some point, swamping yourself with clients 5 days a week will never allow you time to work on the business, if you want to grow and develop your skills such as a trainer, you’ll find it very difficult without giving yourself time each week dedicated to that solei. Allow a few hours to create and plan your content, work on marketing ideas and develop your skills. In the long run your business will see the benefits.

Figure out where you want to go and were you see yourself in 5 years time, Yes, create a 5 year plan ! At some point we have to stop dreaming about it, get up and start doing it! Believe you are limitless, capable and worthy of all you aspire to be, as our dreams wont work unless we do. Listen to inspirational podcasts, follow pages that make you feel good and research steps you need to take to reach your ultimate goal.

Take a look at your content quality and think about educating your audience on your services and yourself, people like to see a variety of lash work an videos, posts with tips and tricks with educational aspects. Gone are the day of posting a eye shot and a cute quote, variety is key to get more exposure and engagement. There are many courses available now which can be done online to help with social media strategies, I'd highly recommend taking one if you feel your page is lacking that something special.

Content quality is super important to help your socials stand out from the crowd and help to target the right audience for your business.

I have developed Amor Lash Pro to establish myself as a high quality lash artist and trainer.

I also ambassador for Flawless Lashes By Loreta and provide best products to my clients and students. I want to ensure a top standard of training for my students. For for me high quality content is what I’m developing at the moment to help my page reach the level it needs to get to and to position my self as an expert in this field as my ultimate goal is to improve the quality of education.

Working on these few steps will help you reach new potential clients/ students. Lashing can be a lucrative money maker if we just take time out to work on how we can make the business work for us.
