A pioneering children programme in Nepal! The increasing number of television sets combined with a rise in the number of commercial TVchannels has made television one of the most important sources of information and entertainment in Nepal today. Creative Statements in partnership with the Danish Centre for Cultural Development and with the support of the Embassy of Denmark, Kathmandu has taken the initiative of creating and producing an entertaining, informative and qualitative TV program based on real life experiences of children in different parts of Nepal. This program would not have been possible without the technical inputs and expertise of: Lars Gudmund Hansen – children’s television program producer, Denmark; Jeppe Vig Find – children’s television program presenter, Denmark and Thomas Larsen – cameraman, Denmark. Our sincere hope is to let Maya & Max be the beginning of a fantastic era of entertaining and informative children programmes in Nepal!
