Lasse Jepsen Hi I’m a problem solver, a industrial designer and a family man. I love teamwork and collaboration, however i also enjoy doing work on my own. When doing projects, talks can be fine but without doing there’s nothing to talk about, and that’s where i excel. Being it calling experts or building models i’m often the one calling the shots. I like making sense of things and use logic to create solutions. I enjoy the design process and don’t mind working on deadlines it keeps me motivated and focused. As a son of a tool constructer i have always been interested in well engineered solutions and appreciate the thought and work that goes into great products. When i’m not making projects or school work i spent time with my 10month old son and my girlfriend, where we go sailing in our boat. If you are hiring me you will get a team player that adds energy, humour, and focus.

Modus Modus was a project made in collaboration with a company called Cube design. The objective was to make a lounge furniture for the offices and institutions. The project was a 15 ECTS course with a group of four, Alexander KjĂŚr Andersen, Matilde Eilersen, Maya GulbĂŚk and me.
Company collaboration:
The focus of the project module was to develop a piece of furniture based on a brief from a company called CUBE Design which is a Danish office furniture manufacturer. The topic of the brief was Lounge furniture, and from that we started defining what lounge is in the modern office of the knowledge worker. Focusing on conversation and collaboration spaces we wanted to enable knowledge workers to share and externalise thoughts and ideas.
My Role:
Collecting and analysing data, Scrum master, Design For Manufacturing, Calculations, testing and Rendering. Page 6

Gorm Gorm was my Bachelor thesis, The project course was titled Integrated design. It was made in collaboration with Rolls Royce Marine Service. The Team consisted of Alexander Petersen, Jacob Christensen, Lasse Jepsen and Stefan Larsen.
B2B product:
The aim of this course was to make a B2B product / solution using integrated design approach.Collaborating with Rolls Royce Marine Service Centre in Aalborg, we where allowed to follow employees closely on the shop floor and inquire about their work. We found that the process of cleaning bolts from ship thrusters was something they wasted a lot of time on - so we set out to improve that process.. The final product was Gorm a cleaning solution where sorting and cleaning becomes a part of the workflow.
My Role:
Collecting and analyzing data, Project Management, Testing, Prototyping and Manufacturing.

Shimano Brakebox Shimano brakebox was a project made on the 4.semester Bachelor , the title of the project module.was Proces Analysis and Redesign. The project group consisted of: Alexander Andersen, Louise Ullmann, Michael Planck, Sandi Andersen, Yussef Karim, Lasse Jepsen
Redesign:
The aim of the course was to redesign and rethink a basic v brake system that is found on bikes all over the world. We found that emergency braking can lead to severe injury and therefore we wanted to create a smarter solution to reduce the hazard of emergency braking.. Looking into other contexts where emergency braking is needed we found that cars use all four wheels to break and that lead to the idea of breaking on both wheels using one lever.
My role:
Manufacturing, Prototyping, CAD, Testing, 3D printing, Rendering and Collecting and analysing data.

What are the risks of an emergency stop?
!!!
!!!
There’s a risk of blocking the rear wheel if the rearbrake is used and eventually loosing control.Using the front brake in an emergency stop is much more effective than using the rear brake, but breaking too hard can mean being thrown over the handlebar.

Ducati Casco Casco was an individual project in a 5ECTS course called Form & Technology. The assignment was to explore behavioral, technological and form trends and combine them into a new product. My focus was on wearable technology as the social/behavioural trend and augmented reality as the technology. It was a seven day assignment including research and development. I used the project as an opportunity to learn the new CAD software Autodesk Fusion 360.
The Display
Page 16
The product:
Research showed that riders want minimum information such as navigation, speed and warnings of rear collision. Ducati Casco is a ‘Smart Helmet’, where the most relevant information shows up on a screen in front the eye of the rider, this helps the rider keeping his eyes on the road while still getting the relevant information.

Speaker stand Redesign for Hi-Fi:
The speaker stand is a personal project, i made due to my passion of Hi-Fi. The objective of the design was to hide the speaker cables which is an issue when dealing with shelf speakers. The whole construction is made for easy assembly and only requires three nuts and one tool. The speaker stand i made from aluminium on a five axis milling machine and then finished by hand sanding it. I did the design and hand finishing and my farther did programming and milling.
