Food In our region, food and its preparation are very important, that’s why we take great pride in our cuisine. Imagine, after a long conference day, you gather with you friends and share a good meal and a glass of wine. Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it? Regional cuisine here is an intriguing mix of the Mediterranean, Oriental and Continental cuisine. Some of our favorites are “ćevapi“, “burek“, pasta with truffles, baked beef with potatoes, grilled fish and “Leskovački“ grill. •

Wine Wine also has an important place in the local culture and tradition. There are numerous private wineries that produce traditional wine varieties such as “žilavka“ and “blatina“ in Herzegovina, “malvazija“ in Istria, “plavac mali“ on the Pelješac penninsula and “vranac“, which is an important variety in Montenegro, Serbia and Herzegovina. There are many more wines that we haven’t mentioned, and we’d like you to join us in discovering and enjoying them! •
