LOUISIANA TECH BULLDOGs (9-3)

• Louisiana Tech plays its final game before Christmas break, taking on Seattle U on Wednesday night inside the Redhawk Center. The Bulldogs are in a stretch of playing five of six games on the road. • After trailing by as much as 13 early in the second half at Saint Louis, LA Tech made a comeback taking a 6-point lead with less than a minute to go. However, the Billikens make a furious rally late and hit a game-winning three at the buzzer to win, 75-74. • The Bulldogs went the entire 40 minutes without committing a turnover versus the Billikens. According to CBS Sports, LA Tech became just the fourth DI men’s basketball team since the 1996-97 season -- and the first since 2009 -- to finish a game with zero turnovers committed. • Daniel Batcho scored a season-high 18 points while pulling down 13 rebounds, marking his fifth double-double of the season which is tied for the 15th most in the country. He also registered three blocks to give him 20 on the season. The forward now has three games this season with at least 10 points, 10 boards, and three blocks, which is tied for third most of any player in college basketball. • After being held scoreless in the first half, Isaiah Crawford erupted for 18 second-half points to help the Bulldogs make a comeback against Saint Louis. It marked the fifth time this season he has led LA Tech in scoring in a single game. In the five road games this season, Crawford is averaging 18.2 points per game, having scored at least 18 points in the last five road contests. • Tyler Henry came off the bench to play a season-high 29 minutes while scoring a season-high 15 points. He tied his season high with four made three-pointers. Over the last three games, he is averaging 11.3 points per game while shooting 50 percent from three-point range. • LA Tech pulled down 12 more offensive rebounds at Saint Louis, the ninth time this season with double-digit offensive boards. As a result, they scored 13 second-chance points versus the Billikens. The Bulldogs are averaging 13.6 second-chance points per game, having outscored their opponents in that category, 163-94.

A LA TECH WIN... • Would give the Bulldogs their 10th victory of the season. It would mark the seventh time since the 2012-13 season that LA Tech has won at least 10 games through its first 13 contests. • Would give the Bulldogs their third win over a WAC opponent this season. LA Tech has already defeated Southern Utah and Stephen F. Austin. They also face Grand Canyon in non-conference play. • Would give the Bulldogs their second straight win in the Pacific Time Zone (won at Santa Clara in 2021).
