Our publication celebrates the vast diversity of Latin and Hispanic culture with the first magazine that recognizes the sophisticated presence of this multicultural market, as well as anticipate its growth, making it particularly provocative to those creative and passionate people who pursue excellence. Our magazine is committed to providing a creative and ethical multimedia platform. Latin Connoisseur peeks inside an exclusive, high-end society and offers a collection of the best from Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Houston and other major metro areas. Latin Connoisseur is written in the language and style that directly speaks to discerning connoisseurs. We want to inspire our readers in a way that every-time they get our products and services or simply visit our site in search of any answers we can remind them their culture (their past) their family (their present), and their education, (their future). Latin Connoisseur speaks to a wider range of Latin and Hispanic consumers through fashion, gastronomy, health, sports, family and culture. Latin Connoisseur is the premier way to reach millions of high net worth individuals of Latin and Hispanic origin in the US. Latin Connoisseur is committed to providing a creative and ethical platform to promote the timeless and universal pleasure of sharing our culture with family and friends. We recognize that Hispanic refers to Spain and its culture and people, while Latin refers to the language of ancient Rome as well as a person of Latin American descent. In an effort to remain culturally relevant, we’ve opted to use “Hispanic” when referring to both Latin and/or Hispanic populations. Hispanics are individuals who have either partial or total knowledge of the Spanish language and whose lineage can be traced to countries where the Spanish language is the dominant tongue. Hispanics are as heterogeneous as their countries of origin, religions, customs, and tastes. They could be from Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. Latin: countries or peoples using languages descended from Latin (romance languages) the four most important Latin languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French.

A proud history of savings and reliability, backed by the strength of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (Note: the above portrait is not Mr. Buffett.) Nearly 15 years ago, GEICO became a proud part of Warren Buffett’s famed holding company. Back then, the Gecko was one of the hardworking people — sorry, reptiles — in our GEICO offices. Now he’s helped GEICO become not only the third-largest car insurance company in the country, but also the fastest growing. Which is no surprise. For over 70 years, GEICO has worked hard to save people hundreds on car insurance. So why not give the Gecko a call to see how much you could save? You’ll find he’s easier to reach than Mr. Buffett.

“True architects are those who aren’t satisfied with conventional forms and spaces but rather create what challenges them, what comes to their mind and do it.”

In the past 50 years the culture of wine has developed rapidly and along with that an active architectural movement that not only satisfies the egocentric needs of winemakers but also helps promote tourism and an industry that thrives, just like the vine itself. In the past, winemakers were happy with and used to the classic rustic, maybe Romanesque or chateau style type of building. Today that idea has been replaced with a more progressive approach and modern mindset of matching their wine establishments with buildings that represent their most intimate cultural and emotional approach to their vines and wines. Keeping a balance between wine making and winery making or between tradition and modernism are the best reasons to find architects who have been or will be inspired by vines and wines. The overall perception about wines and the latest architectural projects show the appreciation for the architect’s creative work, respect for nature and practical functionality. All that reflects directly in the quality of those

BODEGAS NAVARRO CORREAS - LUJAN DE CUYO - MENDOZA, ARGENTINA WHEN THE MULTINATIONAL DIAGEO, ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST RESPECTED DISTRIBUTORS OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, ORGANIZED THE COMPETITION TO BUILD A 14,000 SQ.-M WAREHOUSE, THEY HAD TWO MAIN GOALS, TO CREAT AN IDEAL SPACE IN WHICH TO DEVELOP MORE EXCLUSIVE WINE LINES AND TO CONSTRUCT A GLOBAL VITICULTURE ICON BUILDING. THE PROJECT, CARRIED OUT IN ALLIANCE WITH ARCHITECT ANTONIO FUNES, BASED IN CORDOBA, ARGENTINA. FEATURED THE LATEST WINEMAKING TECHNOLOGY WHILE IT MATERIALIZING AS A LANDMARK ABLE TO BECOME A NEW ICONIC IMAGE AND, UNDENIABLY IDENTIFYING A CENTURY-OLD WINERY THAT HAS BEEN FOR DECADES LOYAL TO THREE MAIN COMMITMENTS: EXCELLENCE IN WINE PRODUCTION, PROMOTION AND DISSEMINATION OF LATIN AMERICAN AR. ADDED TO THIS WAS THEIR COMMITMENT TO THE CONSERVATION OF LOCAL NATURAL RESOURCES. TO ACHIEVE THE FIRST TWO GOALS, MATERIALS OF UNIQUE PLASTICITY WERE USED. NOTABLE AMONG THEM IS “CORTEN” INDUSTRIAL STEEL, PRIZED BY SCULPTORS AND DESIGNERS, WHICH WAS IMPORTED FROM EUROPE AND USED IN ARGENTINA FOR THE FIRST TIME. ITS STUNNING AESTHETIC GIVES THE SET A RARE ARTISTIC VALUE. 16 LATIN CONNOISSEUR MAGAZINE
