More than 50 years training managers We are an international business school specialised in business and management training founded in 1958. We have plenty of experience as a business school and over our 55 years of history, more than 60,000 managers and professionals belonging to national and international companies, institutions and organisations of different fields, have put their trust in us. This experience has allowed us to be acknowledged in 2012 as the third most renowned business school in Spain according to the MERCO Ranking (Spanish Monitor of Corporative Reputation, 2012 edition) with the classification led by IE and IESE, an acknowledgement that drives us to carry on searching for the excellence of our business school. Furthermore, once again, our master degrees are amongst the best in Spain according the ranking of El Mundo 2012. These successes require us to continue growing every day and we consider that this challenge demands the enhancement of three main areas. In the first place, we want to carry on developing our international scope and point of view. Our campuses in Madrid and Barcelona have already welcomed professionals with more than 60 different nationalities, and we are working to increase this figure year by year. To do so, we are strengthening our bonds with the international academic and business community by means of maintaining agreements with business schools and universities of more than thirty countries. In turn, these agreements encourage the exchange of knowledge, development, research and innovation with business schools around the World and favour the mobility of students and teachers. In the second place, we are strengthening our connection with the business network. We currently have cooperation agreements with more than 1,400 companies and institutions and more than 1,500 companies recruit students from our School each year. Furthermore, we are still working to provide a balanced teaching team, which combines professionals related with national and international companies and academic experts. Finally, we would like our students to acquire excellent experience during their studies at EAE, and that is why we support their personal and professional growth before, during and after their stay at EAE. For this reason we offer our students Welcome, Professional Development, Update and Networking services. All the latter, without forgetting about the continuous academic innovation that we provide to our students and to the business community. We invite you to get to know us. Welcome to EAE.

02 The program: International MBA The business world and the current very dynamic and highly competitive situation of economic uncertainty demands qualified professionals with solid knowledge of the different management areas and, in turn, with personal and professional skills, such as versatility, adaptation, reflection, determination and creativity. What are the benefits of taking an International MBA? International MBA is the managerial training programme par excellence, which trains its participants to reach positions of responsibility in a company by means of acquiring those managerial skills necessary for the management of companies and institutions. Thus, apart from management training, an MBA provides acknowledgement on behalf of the entire business community. Therefore, it is the best programme to gain and consolidate, by means of experience, new tools and knowledge that facilitate the transition towards a better job in our professional career. The International MBA of EAE Business School has been designed so that participants can enhance and increase their knowledge in business management and administration, work with the main management tools and strengthen their managerial skills and competences. It is a management master degree focused on the understanding of all areas involved in the management of organisations, considering the company’s full perception, its functioning and organisation. All the latter enriched with the networking established between the rest of participating professionals, our teaching staff and the professionals invited to our conferences, discussions and activities, which is very important to encourage professional positioning. specialisations
The programme allows you to choose between five different majors, therefore participants can benefit from the tools learnt in an MBA (growth as an executive officer and manager) and to major in a specific area or sector that adapts to their professional concerns.
Semester abroad in New York Students are offered the possibility of studying a semester abroad in the Manhattan Institute of Management of New York. The Manhattan Institute of Management is a private higher learning institution committed to offering students a high quality, global business education. aims The main aim of EAE’s Full Time International MBA is to provide students with unique experience, in which, apart from acquiring plenty of administration and management knowledge, they will improve their management skills, enhance their professional positioning and strengthen their skills, attitudes and abilities. 1. How do students learn at eae? EAE Business School’s methodology is structured in three branches that revolve around the student: 1. Experience-based learning, basing its efficiency on the weight of experience in our learning processes. Thus, we help to transfer the learning contents to the students’ professional experience to establish life-long learning throughout the course, during academic hours in their professional environment. 2. Problem-based learning. We place the student in the centre of the methodology. The solution of problems demands from students a process of acknowledgement of what has been learnt during the course, identifying the needs of the problem and developing the appropriate skills in order to obtain a satisfactory result. 3. Case studies (Case method), whether real cases, or cases known or lived by the teachers, which will help to encourage the learning of the students in a simulation environment, without putting at risk the managerial success of a real project.
2. methodological support elements Resources provided to students An important part of the methodology is the selection of material and documentation that favours the students’ learning. For this purpose, the participants in our programmes have: • Theme-based presentations of teachers and experts. • Handbooks, technical notes and the latest reference books. • Business success cases and study cases that help us to locate learning in the daily context of organisations. • Insights. Macroeconomic analyses or joint European and Worldwide analyses drawn up by EAE’s Strategic Research Centre.
Activities, management and networking conferences Du r i ng the master degree, we orga n ise cer ta i n conferences with executive officers and experts from companies and organisations, which go into detail about topical issues, as well as off-campus activities, such as visits to companies and discussions with professionals from different sectors. The aim of these activities is to bring participants closer to the reality of the business env iron ment by means of ana lysing successf u l management cases, getting to know their environment better and, especially, reinforcing the programme’s networking among the participants, teachers and professionals of the sector. Online Campus The support of technology is fundamental in the School’s academic methodology, as it is the environment in which great part of the work is put together. EAE’s Virtual Campus has been designed so that students have access to academic resources and all the updated information of the course: notes, marks, material, teachers’ contact information and many more details, as well as receiving the summoning of activities, events and conferences organised by the institution. The Virtual Campus also facilitates the communication between students, teachers and EAE members thanks to the BlackBoard IM video-chat. This tool allows several users to carry out videoconferences, share online presentations or share their desktop with the rest of participants, and many more functionalities. Furthermore, the EAE Campus incorporates Blackboard Mobile technology that allows students to access all campus functionalities from their pocket by means of any device, as it is fully optimised for mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices that run on Android, iOS or BlackBerry. BlackBoard Mobile is currently the campus used by universities such as Princeton, Stanford or Duke.

Executive MBA of EAE satisfied all my expectations, because I finished my program fully satisfied with my gathered knowledge, the quality of my professors and tools at my disposal.
