About Us The 9th Annual Latino Trendsetter Awards is produced by Defining Trends Media Group, a multi-platform company that connects with the bilingual/bicultural Hispanic Market through its website, proprietary events, social media, email campaigns, and LatinTRENDS Magazine (formerly known as DTM Magazine), the official magazine of the forward-thinking people who enjoy Latin culture, cuisine and entertainment.
Since 2001, our vision has been that of “bridging cultures” by providing intelligent entertainment in traditional and new media platforms to influencers, taste-makers, and lifestyle-conscious Trendsetters. Our annual Latino Trendsetter Awards celebrates excellence and recognizes groundbreaking leaders in business, education, entertainment, art, health, community service, and more, while acknowledging the communities’ contributions to the popular culture. U.S. Latinos are the largest and fastest-growing and largest ethnic group in America. This is especially so for the new generation of U.S. Latinos, many of whom are bilingual and bicultural. We call is “Pop Culture with a Latin Twist.” This is a vibrant community yearning to be seen and heard; a community choosing to stay connected and wanting a voice of its own. This is the reason we exist.
