Message From Maddi Hi Families! I am back! Yay! I am super excited to be back at Carinya after having spent some time in the Team Leader role at our Traralgon Early Learning Centre. I had a great time over at TELC, but couldn’t wait to get back to everyone here at Carinya! It is great to come back and see some new faces throughout the centre, so a big warm welcome to all our new families! I think I have now met all of the new families, but if I haven’t I am the Team Leader here at Carinya! As I am sure you have all noticed, we have had a little shuffle of offices here at CELC! My office is now to the left as you walk in the door. Megan our fabulous Administation Assistant is now sitting at my old desk as you walk in to the right.

Carinya Early Learning Centre 33-39 Rintoull Street, Morwell 5128 5722

Given that Megan only works specific days across the week, please be sure to come to either Megan or myself with any questions or queries you may have! We are both more then happy to help! Talk Soon!  -Maddi

Children actually develop from the inside out, starting with large muscle groups and systems at the center of the body. Then growth and progress gets started on smaller physiological systems. Babies are actually born a little underdeveloped when delivered. This is because there is only so much room in a woman’s womb. So, the first weeks of a newborn’s life, are kind of considered a ‘fourth trimester.

To register, please follow the link and register for the session www.latrobe.vic.gov.au/triplep or ask Maddi or Megan in the office to register for the event on your behalf. There is also other sessions being held at other various council locations. For more information please visit the website above.

Xplorers As we are now in full swing using Xplor, if you have someone coming to collect your child from the service they need to be set up as an Xplorer. Parents aren’t to give family or friends who are authorised to collect their child, their PIN’s that have been set up for them. By setting up an Xplorer, the Xplorer will create their own PIN at the centre to allow them to sign the child in and out. To find out how to set up an Xplorer, please follow this link https://support.ourxplor.com/hc/enus/articles/115010600408-How-can-I-addan-Xplorer-to-my-child-s-account- or see the centre staff for assistance.
