Did You Know…? •

Children actually develop from the inside out, starting with large muscle groups and systems at the center of the body. Then growth and progress gets started on smaller physiological systems. Babies are actually born a little underdeveloped when delivered. This is because there is only so much room in a woman’s womb. So, the first weeks of a newborn’s life, are kind of considered a ‘fourth trimester.

Xplorers As we are now in full swing using Xplor, if you have someone coming to collect your child from the service they need to be set up as an Xplorer. Parents aren’t to give family or friends who are authorised to collect their child, their PIN’s that have been set up for them. By setting up an Xplorer, the Xplorer will create their own PIN at the centre to allow them to sign the child in and out. To find out how to set up an Xplorer, please follow this link https://support.ourxplor.com/hc/enus/articles/115010600408-How-can-I-addan-Xplorer-to-my-child-s-account- or see the centre staff for assistance.

Important!! We just want to remind families the importance of only signing the child in/out of the room that you’re droppingoff/collecting from. We use this as a reflection of who we are responsible for at any given time and if you’ve signed in a child down one end of the building because you’re on your way up to drop them off into their room at the other end of the building, this can give us a serious fright when we’re looking for your child in the room when they haven’t been dropped-off. We appreciate your understanding.
