Das Langlauf- und Biathlonzentrum Martell, im Westen Südtirols, verfügt über 12 km bestens präparierte Pisten und der ersten elektronischen Schießanlage (HoRa 2000) Italiens. Durch die ideale Höhenlage (1.700 m) zählt es zu den schneesichersten Gebieten im gesamten Alpenraum (Ende November bis Ende März).

Il centro sci fondo e biathlon Val Martello è situato nella parte occidentale dell’Alto Adige. Il centro dispone di 12 km di piste per sci fondo ed il poligono più moderno d’Italia (tipo HoRa 2000). Il centro è ubicato ad un‘altezza di 1.700 m e grazie a questa altitudine è il centro con la maggior sicurezza di neve nelle alpi (da fine novembre a fine marzo).

The cross-country skiing and biathlon center Martell lies in the estern part of South Tyrol. The center has 12 km of ski tracks and the most modern shooting rang in Italy with 30 electric targets „HoRa 2000“. The center lies on a sea level of 1.700 mt. Because of its altitude it is the center with the best snow probabilities in the alps with snow from to the end of November tot he end of March.

Waalwanderung mit Weinverkostung auf einem Qualitätsweinhof

The hospital curch was donated by Heinrich von Annenberg. The original gothicconstruction’s consolidation into one building dates back to 1470 – 1520. Schloss Churburg

Castel Coira | Castle Churburg Schluderns-Sluderno Der Name der Burg begegnet uns das erste Mal in einer Urkunde, die Bischof Heinrich am 21. Februar 1259 in „Curberch“ ausstellt. Der Name und die Lage der Burg am Eingang ins Matscher Tal, in dem die Vögte von Matsch ihre Stammburg hatten, machen es zur Gewissheit, dass die Churburg jene Burg war, die dem Bischof kurz vorher „frey unverhinderlich“ zu erbauen gestattet worden war. Kapelle St. Maria in der Schmelz

Cappella S. Maria i.d.S.| Chapel „St. Maria i.d.S." (Wallfahrtskirche Unsere liebe Frau im Walde im Martelltal – chiesa di pellegrinaggio in Val Martello – church of pilgrimage). Die Kapelle wurde 1711 vom Grafen Hendl für seine Knappen erbaut, der Turm im Jahre 1856. Die Kirche ist geöffnet. La cappella fu costruita nel 1711 dai Conti Hendl per i propri minatori. Il campanile risale a 1856. La chiesa è aperta. The chapel was built in 1711 by Count Hendl for his pages, the tower in the year 1856. The church is open.

Troviamo per la prima volta il nome del castello in un documento che il vescovo Enrico scrive il 21 febbraio 1259 nel „Curberch“. Il nome e la località del castello, posto all’entrata della valle di Mazia, dove i balivi avevano la propria sede di famiglia, ci danno la certezza che il Castel Coira è proprio quel castello che il vescovo poco prima aveva ricevuto il diritto di costruire „senza intralcio alcuno“. Alte Staumauer

La vecchia diga | Old dam wall Martelltal-Val Martello Nach der Überschwemmung 1891 wurde die alte Talsperre erbaut. Von der heimischen Bevölkerung wird sie heute nur „Bau“ genannt. Die riesigen Steinblöcke der Mauer befinden sich auf dem Wanderweg zur Marteller Hütte.

Wallfahrtskirche Zum Hl. Martin

Chiesa di pellegrinaggio di San Martino | Church of pilgrimage „Zum Hl. Martin“ St. Martin i. K. Die Kirche wurde 1510 erwähnt. Uralter Wallfahrtsort der Bauern. Die Kirche ist ab Ostern bis Ende Oktober geöffnet. Fu nominata nel 1510. Da sempre meta di pellegrinaggio dei contadini. La chiesa è aperta da Pasqua fino alla fine di ottobre.

La diga è stata costruita dopo la grande inondazione del 1891. Si tratta di un vero e proprio sbarramento della valle. Gli abitanti la chiamano semplicemente „Bau“ (la costruzione). I grandi massi di pietra sono visibili se si percorre il sentiero che conduce al „Rifugio Martello“ The old dam was constructed subsequent to the floods of 1891. The local population simply refers to them as the „Bau“. The enormous stone blocks belonging to the walls are present along the hiking trail to the „Marteller Hütte“ mountain refuge.

Kloster Marienberg

Abbazia Marienberg | Monastery Marienberg Burgeis-Burgusio Die Benediktinerabtei Marienberg ist eine Stiftung der Edlen von Tarasp aus dem 12. Jh. Die Krypta von Marienberg wurde im Jahr 1160 vom sel. Adalgott, Bischof von Chur, geweiht und diente als erster Gottesdienstraum für das Chorgebet und die Feier der Heiligen Messe. Es ist dies eines der größten Zeugnisse romanischen Kunstschaffens im Alpenraum. Aber nicht nur die künstlerische Qualität der Fresken besticht, auch der spirituelle Ausdruck dieses Werkes ist einzigartig. Aus Rücksicht auf den Erhaltungszustand ist die Krypta nur mehr zum Gebet (Vesper) zugänglich. Vesper (Abendgebet) um 15.00 Uhr ab 02.05. bis 30.10.2011.

30 L’Abbazia dei Benedittini di Montemaria fu fondata dai nobili di Tarasp alla fine del XII sec. La cripta di Montemaria, consacrata nel 1160 dal beato Adalgott, vescovo di Coira, fu il primo ambiente sacro destinato alla preghiera corale e alla celebrazione della Messa. Il ciclo dipinto dell’età romanica rientra tra le più importanti testimonianze artistiche dell’arco alpino. Oltre all’altissima qualità artistica degli affreschi è irripetibile e unica l’espressione dell’opera per preservare gli affreschi. La cripta è oggi riservata alla preghiera „Vespri“. Vespri alle ore 15.00 dal 02.05. al 30.10.2011. Marienberg is a foundation of the noble family of the Tarasp dating back to the 12th century. The castle was built on a prehistoric site by Hugo von Montalban around 1278. After that, title to the castle was transfered to the Hendl family, who sold it to a farmer by the name of Josef Blaas in 1813. Since 1983 the castle has been the home of Reinhold Messner, who also uses it to house several art collections. In the meantime Reinhold Messner has completely refurbished Juval Castle with full respect for all three phases of construction. St.Prokulus Kirche Schloss Juval

Castel Juval | Juval Castel Kastelbell-Castelbello Die Burganlage, auf einem prähistorischen Platz, wurde von Hugo von Montalban um 1278 erbaut. 1368 zählt sie zum Besitz der Herren von Starkenberg und 1540, nach öfteren Besitzwechsel, erwirbt sie die Familie Sinkmoser. Damit erreicht sie ihre Blütezeit. Sie fällt dann dem Geschlecht der Hendl zu, die sie 1813 an den Bauern Josef Blaas verkaufen. Die Burg verfällt. 1913 kauft sie der holländische Kolonialherr William Rowland und saniert sie vorbildlich. Seit 1983 ist sie der Wohnsitz von Reinhold Messner, der mehrere Kunstsammlungen dort untergebracht hat. Reinhold Messner hat Juval saniert und dabei alle drei früheren Bauphasen respektiert. Öffnungszeiten: Von Palmsonntag bis 30. Juni und vom 1. September bis zum ersten Sonntag im November von 10.00 – 16.00 Uhr. Mittwoch Ruhetag. Besichtigung nur mit Führung möglich. L’alpinista ha risanato Juval rispettando le tre diverse fasi della costruzione originale ed ha esposto negli spazi del maniero alcune sue collezioni d’arte. Chiesa di S. Procolo | St. Procolo Church Eines der berühmtesten und meistbeschriebenen Denkmäler in Südtirol ist das St. Prokulus Kirchlein am Ortsrand von Naturns. Erbaut im 7. Jahrhundert in Gedenken an den heiligen Prokulus – Bischof von Verona und später als Viehpatron und Wasserheiliger verehrt – zählen die Fresken aus dieser Zeit (wir schreiben das vorkarolingische Zeitalter) zu den bedeutendsten Kunstschätzen in Mitteleuropa. Sehenswert sind auch die gotischen Fresken aus dem 14. Jh., die die Schöpfungsgeschichte darstellen. Degni di nota sono anche gli affreschi gotici del XIV secolo, riproducenti la storia della creazione. Prokulus Museum

Museo di S. Procolo| The Procolo Museum NaturnsNaturno Der völlig unterirdisch angelegte Museumsparcour macht 1.500 Jahre Geschichte der Menschen dieser Region lebendig. Vier Raum-Zeit Stationen führen in die Epochen Spätantike, Frühmittelalter, Gotik und Pestzeit ein. Gräber des Seuchenfriedhofes berichten zudem vom Schrecken der Pest. Im Museum sind weiter die abgenommenen Fresken der Kirche St. Prokulus zu sehen. Öffnungszeiten: 05.04. – 04.11.2011 von 9.30 – 12.00 Uhr und 14.30 – 17.30 Uhr. Montag Ruhetag. ArceoParc Unser Frau/Schnalstal – Madonna di Senales Val Senales Der ArcheoParc gibt Aufschluss über die Lebensweise der Menschen vor 5.000 Jahren. Das Museum führt durch Erklärungen, Bilder, Filme und Gegenstände in die Welt der Jungsteinzeit. Im Freigelände erleben die Besucher in den rekonstruierten Häusern, beim Brot backen, Bogen schießen, Keramik formen, Verarbeiten von Feuerstein und Leder, was Ötzis Zeitgenossen zum Überleben können mussten. The rural culture and cultural landscape are the main themes oft he permanent exhibit. On the four floors of the building, the history of Val Martello and its people has been reconstructed.

With more than 20.000 model railways, this exhibition is one oft he largest private collections all over Europe. The landscape has been recreated on a scale of 1:87 and of course it is South Tyrol itself, in small proportions. Nationalpark Stilfserjoch Programm 2011

Ausstellung 2011 in culturamartell „Kulturpflanzen der Alpen“ Eine Ausstellung zu den bergtüchtigen Kulturpflanzen. Mit Alpen werden meist Kühe, Milch und Käse assoziiert. Die Berglandwirtschaft beschränkt sich allerdings nicht auf Viehhaltung und Weidewirtschaft. Bis vor 100 Jahren bestellten noch viele Bergbauern ihre Äcker. Die Geschichte des Ackerbaus und der Gemüsegärten wird bei dieser Ausstellung nachgezeichnet. Terrassenlandschaften, Anbau, Nutzung und Erhaltung lokaler Sorten der Kulturpflanzen werden porträtiert und alte, neue Verwendungsmöglichkeiten von Gemüsekulturen werden beschrieben.

Eine große Anzahl von Säugetieren kommt im Nationalpark vor. Im Martelltal werden das Gams- und Rotwild in ihrem Lebensraum und den damit verbundenen Konflikten kennen gelernt. Hautnah erleben Sie den faszinierenden Mahlvorgang von Korn zum Mehl. Bereits längst in Vergessenheit geratene Begriffe wie „Gosse“ oder „Beitlkasten“ werden durch Anfassen, Betrachten und Erklärungen leicht verständlich gemacht. Altes Bauernhandwerk, heute besser bekannt als Landschaftspflegemaßnahmen wie das Errichten von Holzzäunen, Trockensteinmauern, „Schindlkliabn“ sowie „Zaunnägel hacken“ werden erläutert und besichtigt. Flora im Park Gemeinsam wandern wir zur Schluderalm. Esposizione 2011 a culturamartell „Piante tipiche delle alpi“ Mostra sulle piante tipiche della zona. Normalmente alle Alpi si associano mucche, latte e formaggio. Nei masi non solo ci si occupa di allevamento ma anche di agricoltura e fino a 100 anni fa ogni contadino coltivava da se il proprio campo. Questa mostra illustra la storia dell’agricoltura, le coltivazioni a terrazza, il mantenimento di piante tipiche della zona così come nuove e vecchie possibilità per usufruire la coltivazione di ortaggi.

Visita al maso delle erbe Tasa Per coloro che sono interessati alle erbe aromatiche, la visita al maso Tasa è un obbligo. La contadina delle erbe, Monika, vi porterà nel suo regno raccontandovi tante cose interessanti sulla sua passione: le erbe aromatiche. Quando: ogni giovedì a giugno, luglio, agosto e settembre 2011.

Il mulino macina ... “Soltanto quando non ci furono più, ci siamo resi conto di avere perso qualcosa di straordinario”. Con tanta cura e conformemente all’originale il vecchio mulino “Soi Reit” (nominato la prima volta nel 1888) è stato restaurato. Potrete osservare da vicino il processo di macinazione del grano fino a diventare farina. L’antica terminologia, ormai dimenticata, torna a rivivere p.e. “Gosse” (zannella) o “Beitlkasten” (setaccio). Potrete osservare da vicino gli antichi lavori artigianali collegati al lavoro del contadino, oggi meglio conosciuti come “provvedimenti per migliorare il paesaggio: la costruzione di staccionate e di muretti a secco, “Schindlkliabn” (fabbricazione di scandole) e “Zaunnägel hacken” (fabbricazione di chiodi in legno per steccati). Questa escursione vi fará tornare indietro nel tempo facendovi apprezzare l’amore per la tutela della nostra natura, uno degli impegni più gratificanti in questo “giardino di Dio”. Escursione lungo i vecchi canali di irrigazione in legno e visita al mulino Accompagnati da una guida alpina si parte dal maso Niederhof arrivando poi a Stallwies, camminando lungo vecchi canali di irrigazione in legno ricevendo interessanti informazioni sul bosco. Di seguito visiterete il vecchio mulino restaurato che troverete a Stallwies, maso che un tempo era uno dei masi più alti dove si coltivava il grano. This is an exhibition about the typical and characteristic plants in our area. Usually when you hear Alps you associate cows, milk and cheese. The mountain agriculture is not only restricted to livestock keeping or pasture. Until a 100 years ago many mountain farmers ploughed their fields on their own. This exhibition draws the history of farming and kitchen garden. You are given impressions about terraces, cultivation, use and preservation of local kinds of typical plants; you are told about old and new possibilities of how to use vegetable plantations.

Indication

PREISE: Die angeführten Preise verstehen sich pro Person und Tag bei Unterbringung im Doppelzimmer und einem Mindestaufenthalt von 3 Tagen. Bei den angeführten Ferienwohnungen versteht sich der angegebene Grundpreis pro Wohnung und Tag bei einer Buchung von 7 Tagen unter Bereitstellung von Geschirr, Wäsche, Handtücher. Die Ferienwohnungen sind immer mit einer Küche oder Kochnische ausgestattet; die Endreinigung ist nicht bei allen Betrieben inklusiv. Die Preisspannen ergeben sich auf Grund der Lage, Größe und unterschiedlichen Ausstattung der Zimmer, Appartements bzw. Ferienwohnungen. Der rechtsgültige Preis kommt durch die schriftliche Vereinbarung mit dem Beherbergungsbetrieb zustande.

Per alcuni appartamenti è richiesta una somma extra per la pulizia finale. Il margine die prezzi varia in base alla posizione, ampiezza e diversa dotazione delle camere o degli appartamenti. The holiday apartments listed are understood to be the basic rate per apartment/day when booked for seven days (crockery, bed linen and towels made available). The holiday apartments include a kitchen or kitchenette; cleaning at the end of your holiday is not included by any of the accommodation providers. The difference in price relates to location, size and/or furnishings in the rooms, suites or holiday apartments. The legally effective price is derived from the written agreement with the accommodation provider.

Die in dieser Liste angeführten Preise beruhen auf die von den Vermietern gelieferten Unterlagen, für deren Vollständigkeit und Richtigkeit, trotz sorgfältiger Bearbeitung, keine Gewähr seitens des Tourismusvereines übernommen wird.

BOOKING AND AVAILABILITY ROOMS: Bookings can be made directly at the hotels/guesthouse.
