accessories AW2017/18

Shine is a small accessories collection for women for the AW2018/19 season. It has a minimalistic nordic style combined with mettalic foil prints that give it an unusal ellegant accent.
The wool and felt exterior with the experimental golden or copper prints, hides a simple but sophisticated greyish-blue interior. Every zipper is chosen to match, every detail is hand-made with special care and love.

Haya – Create your own is a conceptual personalisable beadspread collection. The customer may create their own perfectly unique quilt from the comfort of their home, through a webshop in 5 simple steps. They choose a size, a collection, create a layout from the 29x29 cm sized elements according to their liking, and choose a lockstitch, final step is delivery information and payment. For the success of this service we need an artistic vision, that is present in all possible versions of the personalised product, and ensures it’s aesthetics; an interface, that makes the design process a joyful experience; and craftsmanship that will result in a quality product, just like the customer dreamed of.
During this project 3 patterncollections were designed. Bedspreads were created by laymen and also for the Haya Designer Collection. One quilt was made, and exhibited at the Metropolitan Diploma Exhibition, and also at the Trafó smART! XTRA Exhibition.

The trend Memory references back to new and old times. Emphasis is placed on the importance of fragrance, emotional experiences and future legacies. It is all about mixing the old and new together, cherishing the past, connecting memories and creating new stories.
My collection, the “Summer house� is inspired by childhood memories, lingering scents, forgotten art and fading feelings. It plays with things that should make us happy and sad at the same time, like the end of a great summer. I wanted to create a moody, feminine, fragile look. The colour palette consists of light yellows and pinks, foggy blues, greys and minty greens. The main motifs are subtle floral prints, washed out, aged surfaces, lace and reused knitwear. I used spraying, dying techniques, and potassium-permanganate to achieve these effects. I worked with fabrics that are soft to touch and cosy to wear, mainly viscose, cotton, and cotton jersey.

I begun this project experimenting with paper jewellery, looking for my own handwriting. The crumpled pieces of wrapping paper reminded me of twigs, so I continued my research into that direction keeping the original technique combining varnish and macrame. The final collection is urban natural. It combines wood with sterile white or medical-looking transparent electric tubing. White and golden varnish vary with untouched wooden surfaces. The components come together with melancholic humour.

MOTH WIN GS textile and handbag collection AW2014/15
2014
This project was about designing a bag and a textile collection, for the upcoming trends, using recycled and non-textile materials. I used one of the Textile View Magazine trends „Surprises and Contrasts�. This trend combines hairy, mothlike surfaces, with transparent fabrics inspired by dragonfly wings. It has a monochrome palette, with intricate graphic patterns, and detailed jacquards.
The textile collection consists of woven structures, some using wrapping foils, acetate paper and plastic bags for transparent looks. Others were made with metallic beads and wires to have a metallic shimmer. Stuffing and different types of yarns were used to create soft, fluffy surfaces. I also designed a monochrome printed pattern, which plays with the form of moths in a geometric arrangement. The bags have a shape based on cocoons, a feminine, soft silhouette, and two colour variations. A white bag for the hours of daylight, and a black one for the creatures of the night. 26
