Mission Statement
Annual DLV Motorcycle Run Our major fundraising event is a motorcycle run hosted by the American Legion Post 273 In Burlington MA. Its popularity has virtually doubled every year since its inception. With the cooperation and support of American Legion Post 273, generous sponsors such as Eastern Bank, New Balance, Dadgar Insurance and many others and with countless volunteers, the event is extremely successful bringing us financial donations we could not operate without.
Mission Annually Disabled and Limbless Veterans, Inc. holds its Suits for Success Clothing Drive, proudly supporting Norfolk County Veterans Treatment Court. We collect slightly used men’s and women’s business clothing including suits, slacks, dresses, dress shirts and blouses, shoes and accessories so that Veterans participating in the court program can be properly attired during court appearances and employment interviews. New Balance has been at our side from the beginning donating hundreds of tee shirts, sweat shirts and running shoes, which Disabled and Limbless Veterans delivered to Veterans homeless shelters in Boston, Worcester and Lowell and the Veteran's Treatment Court.
