Prototype
The objective of the prototype was to CNC three different connections from the frame of the chair to the wood slats. These three connections had a different aesthetic, scale; they varied in methods as well as in Sturdiness. Two out of the three joints worked perfectly. However, one was more convenient for ten-yearolds to put it together. What we learned from the prototype. Due to the curved nature of the chair, It needed a closer handle to secure the user. The curvature gave us a dual angle rocking system that encouraged us to introduce a stop system, something added to the final design. The angle of seating of the wooden slats was too high, resulting in an uncomfortable seat. Therefore, We improved the seating curvature for a more ergonomic and gentle sloped one
