KEY EXPERIENCE Appointed as marketing manager for LORAG community centre I was specifically brought on board with the main objective to retain funding and inevitable secure the future of this community centre. Situated in an area of prolific unemployment deriving from a severe lack of basic qualifications meant that essential skill classes in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT were key to help combat deprivation in this area. With closure imminent time was against this project, however, pulling on my vast array of skills in communication, marketing and public relations ensured this project was a success for the centre. Results exceeded expectations, not only did the centre receive the necessary funding but growth and rejuvenation. CURRENT EMPLOYMENT •

A communication role within the Mater Hospital directs external and internal calls, cardiac arrest calls, fire alarm procedures and any additional alarm within the hospital grounds. Cardiac calls acquire precedence importance and the cardiac team is informed in a precise, competent manor allowing them to reach the patient within minutes. It is a very busy, dynamic environment on a daily basis. •

Peripheral responsibilities involved managing GP Urgent calls, Formal Admission calls and deploy Courtesy calls to the public. Observing hospital statistics was also fundamental in the preparation of a prospective major incident arising and consequently the data facilitated NIAS to take action proficiently.
