PRODUCED BY A
The existing building is located in the south area of Milano, near Porta Ticinese and Navigli river, this area was known for being and industrial port where many merchandises were recieved and storaged, giving with that a new typology of buildinging, casa ringuiera that on the ground floor level worked as storage of products while in the upper floors were disposed dwellings for the workers of the area. This project atempts to modify in a very careful way the existing structure of the building to adapt it into a co-housing building for the actual residents of the city, also with adapting dwellings in order to reach flexibility for the needs of each dweller and important comunal areas as kitchens and linving rooms.

Additional Top Floors Co-Housing The aim of the retrofitting of san siro blocks is to regenerate the fabric of the neighborhood and ensure flexibilty, comfort and social life to its inhabitants thank to an architectural and urban intervention at the different scalesPRODUCED of the project: BY block, clauster. STUDENT VERSION ANbuilding, AUTODESK The intervention relies on practical soft actions in order to ensure permeability of the blocks, diversity of outdoor spaces, flexible housing and new ways of living. Thank to a system of modularity the houses can increase or decrease in size according to the needs and the evolution of the tenants, new typologies are offered for a compatible and comfortable use of the space in respect to the cultural richness of the inhabitants, along with multiple exterior spaces shared or private such as loggias, courtyards or communal spaces that create different level of social interractions and practices.

Foldable Roof Project Type: Academic project Location: Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Bogota, Colombia Category: Spatial laboratory Development: Team work
Keywords: Tubes, Bolts, Assembly, Expansion, Reduction, Functionality, Geometry, Recycling, Portability, Modifiable.
About The students of the class had to design a special structure for a 1:1 scale roof, so as a team we studied some modificable structrures made all over the world and we choosed this system for two reasons: first, this system let us design a portable and modificable roof and second because we could use cheap and recycled materials.

Place before the intervention
About This was an internt contest to design an intervention at the campus of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in BogotĂĄ, every student had to present a design for the given space, then my design won the contest and it was built as a “space laboratoryâ€?. The intervention is designed to disrupt the continuity of the space, to change the perception of a transtion space to a place with some permanences.
