Cosmetics Branding PROJECT BRIEF Creation of a new cosmetics brand, its visual identity and its products packaging. The brand, named Fluxe, offers genderless make-up products made with vegan ingredients and without animal testing.

GOALS
Social constructs that exists towards genders and make-up.
To rewrite the boundaries of beauty and blur the lines between binaries. And to design a brand that is consistent with its message and that communicates its identity throughout every product and package.

The chosen color palette represents the nude chromatic dimension of FLUXE as a gender-neutral brand. The colors are not striking, but rather natural and discreet. They trigger a calm, slow-paced atmosphere while remaining sophisticated and adding a charming unisex nuance to its wearer.
It is written in capital letters because this is how life should be written like: big. The color, is just as the brand: neutral, without unnecessary color-linked connotations that limit

Aesthetically, the products convey coherently the general message of the brand: gender neutrality and naturalism. The colors of the packaging are the same as the ones from Fluxe's visual identity: white, beige and black, and the packaging materials are recycled cardboard to remain truthful to the brand's mission and values: its eco-friendly and sustainable nature.

02 Cream Blush
The cream blush comes in 5 tones that blend seamlessly into anyoneʼs skin to achieve different levels of pigmentation. The packaging design is simple and sleek and is showing the exact color tone as the inside one. It stays true to the brandʼs values, without additional colors or elements that might convey to gender speculations. The product is thought to be applied smoothly with the fingers, without the need of make up tools, and therefore its package is strategically designed so it can be easily carried around for re-applying throughout the day.

Bb cream cushion
The bb cream comes in 2 different packages so the user can purchase the best formula suited to their preferences. The tube package may be fonder to those that like to apply bb cream with the use of other make-up tools like brushes, and the cushion one may appear more attractive to those who like to carry the package with them.

Tinted lip balm
The tinted lip balm comes in a shiny, simple package with the product tone displayed at the bottom. Information at the front includes the product description, brand logo, SPF details, number and name of the tone. On the back side, characteristics of the formula and benefits are written.
The tinted lip balm box also displays the tone and name of the product at the bottom, following a gradient design. The characteristics of the product and SPF details are right in the middle, and the brand logo on top. On the side of the box are expressed the ingredients, expiry date and product quantity.
The idea of a lip balm rather than a lipstick comes from the values of Fluxe. Lip balms are starting to be used by all genders with no social connotations. Fluxeʼs lip balm is both a lip treatment due to its natural ingredients like lemon butter, and also it contains a sheer tint of color to enhance the userʼs natural lip tone. Cosmetics packaging / 5
NGO Graphic Campaign

PROJECT BRIEF The following project is a communication campaign for an NGO that includes a graphic piece as an advertisement poster to communicate the NGOʼs campaign message. The organization WWF was chosen for the campaign, and after an in depth research about the different animals and their threats, the panda was chosen to carry out the campaign.
PROBLEMS Pandas have been driven to vulnerable situations by humans. These threats are now affecting the way Bamboo trees grow, the main food intake of pandas. If no action is taken, bamboo species will become extinct in less than 100 years, resulting in the extinction of the Giant Panda due to starvation.
GOALS Plant bamboo trees in higher areas of the mountains where pandas live, so climate change doesnʼt affect them and therefore kill them. Avoid further constructions of infrastructures in the habitat where the Giant Panda lives. Protect the Panda migration corridors created by WWF, by ensuring the whole habitat of the panda is free from disturbances or threats and allow them to migrate to other regions of the mountains. Raise public awareness and donations by creating a transmedia campaign that highlights the risks pandas are put on due to human activities and practices. Engage with audiences through online and offline channels to increase donations and volunteers, and make possible the previous strategies on a larger scale.

What is leading to the exctinction of Pandas? The reduction of forests, which leads to the reduction of bamboo trees.

The construction of railways and other large-scale projects that occupy the location previously used by pandas, reducing their habitat from 50.000 square kilometers to 10.000 square kilometers. This also affects in the free migration, resulting in a segregation and deterioration of the species quality. Climate change and the rising of temperatures, which results in bamboo plants dying out.

Bachelor thesis: rebranding Korea

PROJECT BRIEF Creation of a whole new nation brand for Korea, as well as its visual identity manual for my final Bachelor Thesis.
PROCESS The different parts that constitute a nation brand were studied and analyzed. A quantitative research was done in a global scale to understand the image that people have towards Korea. A new brand personality was established and a new visual brand was designed in a way that expresses the respondentʼs opinions and perceptions.
GOALS To design a brand that is consistent and coherent to what locals and internationals perceive Korea to be.

Creative process Logo Process

The main idea behind the creative process of the logo was the use of Korean characters, such as ㅈ, ㅅ and ㅇ. Koreaʼs flag colors were incorporated in the logo to express the nation pride, something that Korean respondents from the quantitative research stated about their country.

The main corporate colors are the ones from the logo, and represent the South Korean flag or Taegeukgi. Moreover, the rest of the colors have been chosen because they are representatives of the Korean culture and some of its elements, such as Dancheongs and Hanboks.

The inspiration for the new Korea brand comes from different elements and landscapes from Korea, such as temples, cultural heritages, traditions... but also technology and modernity.

Multimedia portfolio Dear future self The video on the left was the final project asssignment for my exchange course in Anyang University. I decided to do a self-reflection video that could sum up my experience in Korea, expressing in a visual way the personal growth I went through for 5 months. The idea behind the video was to add different clips I have filmed over the years, and with a voiceover, read a letter I wrote for my future self. The video is an intrinsic experience to my deepest throughts, that shows my vulnerability and expresses my personality in a creative way.
Exchange program The video on the right was done to promote Anyang University for future international students. As the exchange students from that semester, we had to make a video that could express our experience in Korea and in the university. I came up with the idea of making a video as if we were news reporters, and we had to tell some of the most iconic moments we lived during the semester as news format. As the only student with multimedia knowledge, I suggested the ideas of every scene, directed and edited the whole video.
