Projects Konnect


Linkage Project In Bolivia, only 82% of girls, boys, adolescents and young people between 4 and 17 years old are enrolled in the Regular Education system. There are a large number of children and adolescents who do not have access to education, these come from families in extreme poverty, street children and / or vulnerable, of which a large percentage are sons and daughters of private persons of freedom. Bolivia intends to increase to 90% coverage in education by 2025.

The Linkage project is aligned with the SDG number 4 "Quality Education". It aims to meet educational needs in children in vulnerable situations, where two goals are pursued: Collaborate with the provision of curricular education to children in vulnerable situations. To avoid dropping out of school, providing alternative education and psychological support in an intercultural environment, empowering children and adolescents.

Linkage aims to achieve by the year 2018, the education of 1500 vulnera-

ble children in the cities of Cochabamba and Sucre, of which, until mid-2017, 800 beneďŹ ciaries. This represents only 0.3% of the national goal, help us reach more boys and girls.

Ensure access to the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to promote sustainable development, adoption of sustainable lifestyles, promotion of human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and Valuation of cultural diversity. This is achieved through the provision of a curricular alternative that covers these issues.


Special education for children City: Sucre

In this project, we want to improve the quality of education for children from 6 to 18 years old with mental and/or physical disabilities in Sucre. Through the support to the professional team from the institution creating a work plan according to the necessities of kids.

STARS in the streets WINTER &SUMMER project City: Cochabamba

Promote a process of restructuring and personalization in children, adolescents, young people and families living in a street situation in the city of Cochabamba and Quillacollo, through a motivational and personalized accompaniment to bring about fundamental changes in their style of life, strengthening their abilities, skills and helping them to regain meaning in their lives.

Education for Kids with Special Needs City: Cochabamba

This project gives the opportunity to kids with special needs in Cochabamba to live their life with normality, taking care of the education and following a process to make them learn. You are the best judge of what the kids in your care are capable of. Remember to always have patience and encourage students to do ask much as they can on their own.


COLOUR A Child's Life Project City: Cochabamba

IThe project serves children and adolescents who are/ were abandoned because their parents are either incarcerated or have migrated to other countries to search for better economic opportunities. The project works basically with education, you will help teaching curricular and extracurricular activities, giving to the kids the chance to grow up with values and education.

EDUCATION for abandoned kids City: Cochabamba

The children you'll help in this project go through a diďŹƒcult stage in their lives by having their parents in jail Cristo Rey Village welcomes these children and gives them the opportunity to have a BETTER LIFE, EDUCATION and TRANSFORM the world! YOU can be part of this change! During the project you'll develop dierent abilities like: *Social responsibility *Teaching skills *Personal development *Patience *Teamwork (You'll develop the project with the director, workers and other volunteers)


Work with KIDS WITHOUT home City: Cochabamba

IIn dierent places of Cochabamba department we support the people to carry out their projects and we develop social services to overcome the poverty. Our services include two kindergartens, two cultural centers with school support, a technical school with boarding school and two health centers.

BE an ABC HERO for KIDS City: Cochabamba

The project works with the Education Program, this one is designed to help kids to broad their horizons, to become global citizens with knowledge of the outside world and all it has to oer. The main idea with this project is teach writting, reading and art skills to the kids.

KIDS MUSICAL RHYTHM City: Cochabamba

Music Project gives kids and youth in poor situations a creative vehicle for sharing their stories, hopes, and dreams Some of the youth who lived on the street and experienced so much discrimination, say that, through their music, they feel empowered and heard by society.


CIRCUS for KIDS City: Cochabamba

This project works with kids, most of them in street situations. In these classes you give free tutelage on dierent types of PERFORMING ARTS, including juggling, unicycle riding, diabolo, aerial acrobatics, trapeze, hand to hand acrobatics, dance, clown, etc. to this KIDS, and develop skills.

NEWBORNS in need City: Cochabamba

The project work with NEWBORNS and BABIES beetwen 1- 3 years old who are/ were abandoned because their parents are either incarcerated or have migrated. This project aims to support the educative needs in this target, through curricular and didactic activities according this age and giving to the kids the chance to grow up with values and warm care.


BLIND CHILDRENS EDUCATION City: Cochabamba

This project gives the opportunity BLIND KIDS to live their life with normality, taking care of the education and following a process to make them learn. YOU're the best judge of what the kids in your care are capable of and TEACH THEM HOW! Remember to always have patience and encourage students to do ask much as they can on their own.

Marginalized children CARE City: Cochabamba

The target of this project is children and teenagers marginalized by been part of HIV/AIDS community, abandoned or abused. This project aims to support the educative needs in this target, through curricular and didactic activities according this age and giving to the kids the chance to grow up with values and warm care.


Be Free Project As for air quality, 80% of the pollution comes from vehicles and their poor condition, 40% of rural water is aected by pollution, and 1.7 million tons of garbage are generated annually, recycling only 2.8% . Being one of the countries with the highest carbon footprint per capita. Generating 20 tons of CO2 annually per citizen. Bolivia intends to improve education, awareness and human and institutional capacity in relation to climate change mitigation, adaptation, mitigation and early warning by 2025. Within the framework of the recognition and respect of the rights of mother earth, the rights of the Bolivian people to their integral development. Cochabamba.

The Be Free project is aligned with the SDG number 13, the work is done in two stages: The ďŹ rst to raise awareness of the population on issues of climate change, pollution in cities and socialization of mitigation mechanisms. This is done through socialization campaigns in target cities.

The second stage is to support the construction of skills and personal habits that enable a comprehensive and sustainable lifestyle. This is done through training workshops on issues of responsible consumption, recycling and water care.

Be Free by 2018, raise awareness, educate on climate change mitigation and test the skills appropriate to the care of the average environment, plus 2000 citizens in Bolivia. Of these, 200 citizens in Sucre and Cochabamba have been part of the educational cycles until the middle of 2017.


Environmental call City: Cochabamba

In this project, we try to enhance living quality in different town of the rural area in Cochabamba with different ecological projects. We try to create a sustainable culture in our volunteers and city. Do you know that Bolivia contributes approx. 7% to pollution worldwide & a third of the land in Bolivia is in a state of degradation? Mano a Mano in relation with AIESEC develops social projects in communities in Bolivia for integral development and self-sustaining in rural areas by * Monitoring production and quality of agro-ecological technologies * Development of games for environmental education * Implementation of water management systems at the household level

Come to cooperate with the development of ecological and social projects in communities with limited financial resources and/or significant negative environmental impact. Recycle your world City: Sucre

Environmental Education City: Sucre

The city of Sucre has an alarming situation related to the accumulation of solid residues. For it, Be Free RECYCLE YOUR WORLD seeks to look for alternatives for recycling. You will work in Sucre to contribute the effects of pollution through different activities related to the trash recycling. You will have to develop strategies for improving the solid residues management. Also you will be able to improve the environmental situation of our city innovating the process of recycling garbage. In this project AIESEC works in alliance with the Major Office in the city. The population of Sucre has an alarming situation related to the environment due to the lack of education. For it, Be Free seeks to change the mentality and to create environmental awareness in all by campaigns and trainings principally, in public and private institutions of education, working always from the hand municipal government. Is your moment to take action for the environment.


Feel Good Currently in Bolivia the disability rate is 0.99 out of 100 people. Where they have different types of disability (physical-motor, visual, hearing, intellectual, mental or psychic and multiple). Where the approximate average life expectancy is 35 years. Of which 40.2% are under 20 years of age; Who suffer from low quality of life, difficult access to medical services, low social inclusion in terms of education and work. Bolivia intends by 2025 to reduce by 1/3 the premature mortality due to noncommunicable diseases and / or physical and / or mental disability. Promoting mental health, well-being in those affected and their social inclusion.

Project The Feel Good project is aligned with SDG number 3 and has 2 goals: Improve access to health services, through the provision of specialized medical care, occupational therapy and alternative therapies in specialized support centers.

Therapy for special children City: Sucre

Health for special children City: Sucre

You will work in Sucre to help in the rehabilitation of children with physical and/or mental problems, providing an integral and specialized care in the area of health andtherapy. You will support the professional medical team in order to provide a complete attention, with quality, warmth, humanized and of excellence. You will work in Sucre to contribute to the medical care of special children. He is part of the integral and specialized team of the Psychopedagogical Institute, working in dierent areas such as pediatrics, ophthalmology, psychiatry and neurology.


EQUINOtherapy City: Cochabamba

We try to improve access to health to children in vulnerable situations. With equinotherapy, AIESEC bring support along our allies to improve the quality of life of children with mental and developmental challenges, through equestrian therapy programs. Work with nature and bring health and psicological care to children with special needs. Work along the professional team.


PARKINSON ASSIST PROJECT City: Cochabamba

This project look to provide support in the medical care of a big target, that is People affected with PARKINSON & ALZHEIMER DISEASE. In order to improve their quality of life thtough therapies and different activities to make them FEEL ALIVE! Themain activities are: Help with physical therapy, Assist with memory exercises and cognitive, Assist with recreational activities and walks and work in the geriatric unit. The main project role is to assist young hospital patients who lack family support as they undergo operations and recovery, and to raise money in the local community and abroad to pay for medical care for children whose families cannot afford it. In that way we aim to improve the access of health services to children in vulnerable situations.

Project

Due to the abrupt growth of urban spots, population growth due to migrations, and little planning at the local level, 70% of cities in Bolivia have deďŹ ciencies in urban design, green spaces, preservation of cultural heritage and coexistence with animals . Bolivia intends to promote an inclusive urbanization, to promote the participation of the population for a comprehensive settlement that includes inhabitants, the vegetable and animal kingdom.

Konnect The Konnect project is aligned with the SDG number 11. Action for a sustainable coexistence with animals, To reduce the overpopulation of abandoned animals by 50% and to promote responsible tenure of animals.

is a program that seeks to promote citizen participation for an integral coexistence between people, the environment and animals.


Animal protection

City: Sucre

You will work in Sucre to raise the awareness of the population related to the care of abandoned animals around the city in order to ďŹ nd a home for them, and give them a new opportunity of life. You´ll contribute the society preventing animal illnesses through Vaccination and Sterilization Campaigns. Also you will directly support the tasks of animal rescue, responsible adoption workshops, and others that Zoonosis carries out in the city.


Wild Life Bolivia is one of the countries with the greatest wealth in animal and plant diversity in the world, being a reserve of many species existing only in Bolivian forests. However, a major problem is illegal wildlife trade, hunting and indiscriminate cutting of endemic species. Where 30% of animals are sold internally, there is still a culture of exotic pet ownership, use of animal parts in traditional rituals, traditional medicine, and others. Bolivia seeks to protect endemic species of Bolivia, raise awareness about animal care and stop the trafďŹ cking of wild species. Through regulatory regulations and citizen mobilization for awareness raising, the aim is to reduce illegal traďŹƒcking of wild species by 50%.

Project The Wild Life project is aligned with the SDG number 15, the work is done in two stages - Provide support in rehabilitation and reinsertion in natural habitat to 1000 animals, present in refuges and research centers of wild animals.

Protecting Wild Birds

This happen because there's no awareness about wildlife in the society and they think they are pets. Wildlife animals traďŹƒc is the 3th biggest illegal actvity around the world and Bolivia isn't the exception and thats WHY NEED YOUR HELP!


Mark Impact In Bolivia about 10% of the population suffers some type of physical, motor, sensory, mental, or multiple disabilities. Where the unemployment rate affects people with disabilities by 60% to 85%, compared to 3.2% reported in people who do not suffer any kind of disability. Bolivia aims to increase the labor insertion rate of people with physical and / or mental disabilities. In order to ensure decent work for this sector of the population and promote equal pay for work of equal value.

Project The Mark Impact project is aligned with the SDG number 8.

Beginning 2.2017 seeks to improve the living conditions of 100 people suffering from physical and / or mental disabilities. Through the impulse to the production that realizes this sector.

Mark Impact

is a project that seeks to boost the small industry and manufacturing that focuses on the labor insertion of people with disabilities. Through marketing strategies, market research and related, Markimpact seeks to position the products manufactured by this sector of the population.


MARKETING COACHES

City: Sucre

This project embraces work inclusion for people with mental and/or physical disabilities, based on the production of handcraft material. You will work in Sucre with the Instituto Psicopedagógico, developing a Marketing Plan for all the goods they oer, and helping in the improvement of products.


Cochabamba

Cochabamba is located in the center of the country and has a population of 1 113 474 inhabitants. Cochabamba is located in a valley of fertile and productive land at 2558 m high. The city, surrounded by ďŹ elds of crops and valuable. It has a dry and temperate climate. The temperatures in winter do not fall more than 10 ° C and in summer do not rise more than 30°C.


Sucre

Sucre is the historical and constitutional capital of Bolivia, besides being the seat of the Judicial Power of the country.
