The Thérèse Brady Library supports the Education and training courses of the Irish Hospice Foundation including; MSc Bereavement Studies, Professional Certificate in Children and Loss, Workshops & training on grief & loss
Library Collection The Library houses a unique specialist collection of over 3,400 items addressing issues in Bereavement, death & dying, palliative care and the hospice philosophy as well as a specialist journal collection, multimedia resources and electronic databases & resources
External membership Library membership is available to professionals or researchers working in the areas of Bereavement, Hospice and Palliative care and related areas.
As part of the library’s bereavement support function members of the public who have been bereaved may borrow from our public loan collection. The library has developed a series of bereavement bibliotheraphy book lists addressing various types of grief and loss informed by the Irish Hospice Foundation’s range of bereavement information leaflets.
