Concept development:
Mood board & CMF board to get a feel of what I wanted the product to communicate and look like. On the right, some initial sketches defining possible shapes, mechanisms, general dimensions and how the components could fit in.
Visual representation:
3D modelling and renderings for showcasing the product in its context of use (bedroom). On the right: exploded rendering of all the internal components and parts.
Industrial design:
Particular focus was given to the internal structure and its compatibility with Falmec air purifying system. Here is a display of the electronical parts and how they fit together. On the right: bill of materials to keep track of all the parts and components used in the design & visualization of the assembly steps.
Mobile app:
The user is able to switch on the device and activate all the functionalities at their most basic level through its gesture sensitive circular touchpad. However, a more complete experience is possible thanks to the Ionite mobile app. Through the app the user is able to set up the perfect wakening and the ‘before bed’ conditions, activate the sunrise / sunset simulations and choose the preferred sounds and music for each occasions. My partner and I designed and bui t the interior of our Mitsubishi e ica, named Birubi.

Here are some screenshots of the documentation I did for the fabrication of the balustrade.
The fabrication drawings include exploded views as well as detailed technical drawings of each item of each section.

Another job I did for that same metalwork company. I took care of the entire documentation, from taking on-site measurements to producing high detailed drawings for its fabrication.
The image below on the left is a digital representation of the 3D model of the balustrade before approval.
The picture on the right displays how the balustrade looked like once manufactured and installed on-site.
