ABOUT Laura Cinnamon is a UK based Fashion, Gluten Free Food and Lifestyle Blog by Laura Sweetingham. Having recently completed a degree in Fashion Communication, Laura has used this to create and promote inspirational stories and people through film and interviews. Laura has been Gluten Free for around a year now, after being diagnosed with an intolerance, and has had to completely rework her life and diet around it. THE BLOG After being stopped by people in the street to find out where her clothes were from, Laura decided to share her personal style on the internet with an audience. She began her blog a number of years ago, starting as a Fashion blog with her close friend. As time went on she took it over herself but has only fully dedicated herself to it over the past year. In that time, it’s grown drastically on various social media platforms, with her twitter followers increasing by over 400% since the start of January, and with Laura now sitting at over 1,200 Instagram Followers. With a steadily rising readership, she has begun a range of brand work on her blog and has focused on growing it in both size and quality. Lauracinnamon.co.uk has a wide ranging readership, with readers from the United Kingdom (58%), United States (27%), Europe and beyond. The readership is predominantely female, commonly ageing between 18-24 years, but it also has a large readership in older demographics. Laura’s largest presence is on Instagram and Twitter, both of which she uses regularly. She currently averages over 70k Twitter Impressions monthly, which is growing by over 110% month on month.

Motel Rocks, London Showroom, Two Month Internship Summer‘14 Social Media & Blogger Outreach Intern. Prior to internship, I helped out at a Sample Sale in April. Throughout the summer, I ran the ‘Street Team’/blogger discount scheme, both the admin and social media aspects. Outreached to brands for competitions and goody-bags, including the Starter for Ten Competition (prizes included a Clarisonic Aria, Daniel Wellington Watch and Nutri Bullet). Took part in organising the Blogger Christmas Event. Helped with day-to-day office roles, opening showroom deliveries and packaging up garments for bloggers. Also had a number of showroom appointments with bloggers, meeting them and gifting garments. Attended LFW and built relationships with key bloggers, while street-styling looks. In November, I returned to help set up and run the Christmas Event.

I completed an Internship in Social Media for a start-up company of Luxury Jewellery. Alongside promoting the company on social media, I carried out market research on similar brands and the customer profile, helped to set up and launch the website and produce marketing posters and emails. I also helped launch the website through a Pop-up event which was held throughout December on Portobello Road, and scouted for designers to showcase work alongside Neola during this period.
