Jesse Owens North Redesign
Re-design of the Jesse Owens North Recreation Center. Focus on designing, combining, and spliting primitive forms within a cube in order to create form. The primitives were used as base forms the removed from a cube, this cube was then subdivided to construct building and landscape. The design process investigated the relationship between rectified and figural forms especially the dichotomy created when they are combined. The final form explores the use of poche space more than open space due to the design and construction method. Site: 2151 Neil Ave., Columbus, OH 43210 ARCH 3410: 2017

Medical Library for Case Western University
Design for a new medical library at Case Western. The challenge of this project was the multiple programmatic requirements that come with a library. Based in pattern making the design began with an exploration of primitves and self-made patterns. The purpose of the patterns was to explore the relationship between object and field. These patterns were then composed into collages to help create form and program. Buidling design was pulled directly from the pattern studies and that can be seen in the final construction. Pull continues defining indeteminate space
Pushed apart by program
Double Height
Three bar spaces sculpted by Pull completes its move and sculpts the the push and pull of the objects represent the transition/growth front bar
from “old school or traditional learning to new styles of teaching. Then the last final push out into the real world.
Input/Generator
Solid bar object is the base object.
Transiton/Incubator
Objects begin to pull from the bar creatinga field. The field transforms the indeterminate space creating an alternate condition.
Output/Execution
A final transformed and full grown object emerges from the space. The push and pull of object and field is complete.

Study Space
An exercise in full scale design and construction. Design a full scale installation study space within Knowlton that can be built using cardboard. As a group the structure was modeled using grasshopper while the construction last three days. Explored the idea of construction method and the human scale. ARCH 2420 2016

Dance and Performing Arts Center
A design for a dance and performing arts center. The form of this project was heavily influenced by precedent studies and exploring the works of alternative performers, Tilda Swinton and Marina Abramovic. The main structure is set within a public park site setting and the site is manipulated to control the flow of people into the space. The DPAC investigates interior and exterior public space and the spatial relationship needed for certain performances. ARCH 2420 2016

Digital Bubble The blank social media experience explores the user relationship on the internet. Three relationships were define; celebrity, stalker, and mutaul with a stalker. The user interacts with others in many different ways and can assume any of the previously listed roles. The ways in which these interactions happen has been abstracted and illustrated as digital bubbles interacting. These relationships are the digital form of the basic human experience. Relationships between people help to inform the design of both the digital and physical world. In the digital world distance is relative to the relationship versus physically you must be close to interact properly.

These links take you to different pages on the site, Home, the Forum, the chatRooms.
This number is a depiction of how popular you are. The larger the number, the more likely you are to become a celebrity.
Location After clicking on location, a map will be brought up to provide your current location in the real world and online.

Comments When the user adds comments to other posts, it increases the Friends Count and Like Count. It doesn’t matter what the user types as it only gives one output, boxes acting as text.
The forum is a place where the user can chat with a large group of users that they are not “Friends” with. Similar to adding comments, the text input into the forum does not matter, as the output is always boxes acting as text.

Celebrity For a user to become a celebrity they must meet certain requirements. They must like thing posts until their friend count reaches 10,000, at this point their friend count number will begin to increase rapidly along with their number of replies. The most noticable change will be the interface. The color scheme will switch to the celebrity scheme.

Stalker For a user to become a stalker they must click on the profile picture of a specfic person ten times. Once they do this the color scheme changes to the stalker scheme and the user experience becomes focused on only one person, the person they chose to stalk. They can only view, click, and scroll through that persons page.

With Stalker For a user to gain a stalker they must press a secret floating button that will be located on the page. Once they have a stalker the user experience becomes glitchy and a series of mousepressed functions begin to edit the page.
