The proposed pedestrian network aids in the ability for the pedestrian and cyclist to move about. The network connects the different modes of public transit and allows for a more direct route. Giving a greater priority to the pedestrian increases street life, creating opportunities for social interaction and public spaces. These connections unify the fragmented blocks of the city, giving the inhabitants a much more sustaibable cityand less dependence on motorized indiviual transpotation.
