Laurie Gardner

I've been married to Jim Gardner (IC '62) since December, 1965. We moved to Calif. after Jim got out of the service in 1967. We were both in banking for years and in 1987, I jumped ship and went into check printing with Deluxe Corp. Worked my way up to Sr. Tech. Analyst, Mainframe. Retired at the end of 2006 and am totally enjoying myself. We've had some wonderful travels, the highlight of which was to Europe for a month in 2007 with our wonderful friends Andy and Kim, and most recently (2013) on a longboat river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest with a few days in Prague. Our son married in 1998 to a wonderful girl ( Theresa) and they became foster parents to Kenny in April, 2008. In Sept, 2009 they finalized adoption and the Gardner family is thrilled. He is a true joy to all of us, not to mention a handful and too cute for his own good. In July, 2011, Mike and Theresa fostered Skye and Riley (sister and brother) and on August 14th, 2012, their adoption became final. They are both darling and very
