Attorney Steven M. Dettelbach Attorney Steven Dettelbach is a prosecutor and lawyer of high repute. In fact, he has been nominated by President Barack Obama as the US Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio. US Attorney), and Jim Wooley (a friend and erstwhile law partner of Dettelbach’s). In fact, Attorney Dettelbach had worked with Wooley at Baker Hostetler for nearly 3 years after serving over 12 long years as a federal prosecutor.
He had partnered Baker & Hostetler since 2006, his time being divided between the Cleveland and Washington offices. The areas of specialty of this reputed attorney and legal practitioner is in corporate internal investigation and defending groups and individual clients in state and federal investigations and regulatory actions. In March 2009, Steven Dettelbach gave up his practice in criminal law in the hope of returning to the Justice Department.
