Dana Reece Dana Reece is an experienced Trial Lawyer with 22 years of experience in law. She is also an ordained minister and she has worked as a former television legal expert and former investigative journalist. She is also the founder of Holy Women Ministries International, a ministry devoted to helping women succeed by applying the principles of God’s word to their lives. She resides at Little Rock, Arkansas and spends her free time pursuing fine arts and playing with her dogs and her parrot.

Dana Reece was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Benton, Arkansas. She attended the Westside Junior High and was a part of their cheerleading team. As a child she was a gifted student with outstanding performances in art and science. She has won many accolades on behalf of her school at State Science Fairs. Dana graduated from Benton High School and with an excellent academic record; she was on the honor roll of her graduation class. She was an active participant in her school choir and was the editor of the school newspaper. She has won the Editor of the Year award Division II by the Arkansas High School Press Association. She went on to secure a Bachelors degree in Psychology as her major and minor in History and Political Sciences from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was named to the President’s List, Dean’s List, and National Dean’s List, and was a recipient of the OBU Student Foundation Scholarship for Academic Achievement. She was also the staff writer for the OBU News Bureau and editorial writer for the college newspaper. Dana received a 3rd place award for editorial writing among Arkansas Colleges and Universities, and was also vice president of the Student Senate. While in college, she received a summer news internship at both the

Arkansas Gazette and television station KTHV-11. Her interest in law developed during her second year at Ouachita Baptist University. While attending law school at University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law, Little Rock, Arkansas, she worked as an investigative reporter for the Arkansas Democrat. Dana has received a Distinguished Service Award from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Journalism Department for a 10-part series about her investigations of the state’s child welfare system. She began practicing law in April 1987 and hosted weekly reports on legal issues; entitled The Law and You, on local radio station KARN 920 AM. She was also a host of the talk show Reece’s Dialogue on Comcast Cable in Little Rock, and has appeared as legal expert on Arkansas Today with Beth Ward and Today’s THV News. She has done her MBA from the Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas. In 1990, Dana was nominated as the Democratic candidate for the Arkansas House of Representatives in West Little Rock. She has been a former state committee representative for the Pulaski County Young Democrats, and is also a former member of the Pulaski County Democratic committee. She is an avid reader and painter. Her interests lie in fine arts like music, architecture and so on.
