The prospective 2013 graduate is involved in a number of organizations at Northern Illinois University (NIU) College of Law. He is the current vice president of the Black Law Student Association, an organization that focuses on the needs of black law students and others who are underrepresented in the law school community. He additionally functions as the secretary of Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity and serves on the board of the Trial Advocacy Society. Additionally, Tate is active within the Women’s Law Caucus and serves as a Kaplan student representative.
