Virginia Law Firm Home to Eight of the 2010 Best lawyers in America By Christine Cristiano Eight attorneys from the Virginia based law firm of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen have been named Best Lawyers in America in the 2010 edition of the publication. The eight honored attorneys consist of Personal Injury Litigators, Edward L. Allen of Fredericksburg, VA; George E. Allen, III, W. Coleman Allen, Jr., Douglas A. Barry and P. Christopher Guedri and Medical Malpractice Lawyers Jason W. Konvicka and Malcolm P. McConnell all of Richmond, VA. Matthew B. Murray specializing in Legal Malpractice Law, Medical Malpractice Law, Personal Injury Litigation of Charlottesville, VA was also named Best Lawyer.

08/06/09 The Best Lawyers of America is a publication intended for legal professionals in which attorneys vote on the ‘’legal abilities of other lawyers in the same and related specialties.’’ The winners of 2010 Best Lawyer in America were chosen by over 24,120 leading attorneys who participated in the annual peer-review survey. Earlier this year, seven personal injury attorneys from Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen were named in 2009 Virginia’s Super Lawyers by Law & Politics Magazine, a publication of Key Professional Media Inc. The Virginia Super Lawyers was established in 1991 and is a listing of lawyers who have ‘’attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.’’

Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen is one of the oldest and largest law firms in Virginia and throughout United States. In 1910, George E. Allen, opened his first law firm in Lunenburg County, Virginia. After moving his office to Victoria, Virginia, Allen served as the town’s mayor. In 1931, Allen took up residence and moved his firm to Richmond, Virginia and years later he welcomed his three sons to the law firm. To date, ten family members still remained involved with the firm including two of Allen’s retired sons. The firm employs over 21 attorneys and 80 support staff. It has offices spread across Central Virginia including Petersburg, Richmond, Mechanicsville, Short Pump, Fredericksburg, Garrisonville, Chesterfield and Charlottesville.
