Zenner Consulting Group LLC By Teresa Cajot Zenner Consulting Group LLC (ZCG) is a nationally recognized legal recruiting firm in Chicago, Illinois that set the standard for the legal placement industry in the area at its inception in 1987.
Teri Zenner Toig, Esq. is the firm’s founder, president, and CEO. She practiced corporate and real estate law with Goldberg, Kohn, Bell, Black Rosenbloom & Moritz Ltd. and also worked with Kirkland & Ellis as a transactional attorney. During her time with Kirkland & Ellis she realized the value of quality attorney search services, which ultimately led to the establishment of ZCG. Today, ZCG has three principals and a director of administration. The firm’s principals were all practicing attorneys prior to joining the recruiting firm and have experience at major law firms, companies, and public interest organizations between them. With personal legal experience, ZCG’s recruiters have a thorough understanding of the legal industry and the challenges that attorneys face in the evershifting job market.
ZCG has also worked with national and local law firms in matters of expansion, including acquisitions, affiliations, and the establishment of additional offices. The firm prides itself on presenting top attorneys and therefore, only works with highly qualified candidates. The firm provides candidates and clients with a level of personalized attention that ultimately leads to long-term placement success. In an effort to serve those who serve others, ZCG waives or reduces the standard fee for public interest organizations that seek its placement services. The firm also established the Zenner Consulting Group Grant at its founder’s alma mater, Northwestern University School of Law. The scholarship was developed to support students working toward a legal career in public interest.
