A STUDY OF HOMEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS ON COMMON PEDIATRIC DISEASES

Pediatrics, therefore, is concerned with the health their growth and development and their attaining full potential as adults. A pediatrician’s responsibility is not only to care for the physical, mental and emotional health form to maturity but also to demonstrate concern for the social, environment and cultural influences that are known to have considerable fall out on children and their families. DISEASE PATTERN In observation in the considered area dissolves namely, series systemic infections (Primarily tuberculosis, pneumonia, measles, and whooping cough), diarrhea disease and skin disease were mainly marked in child.

METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY Type of the Study The study was taken on child health. Patients of both sex aged with 12 years were included in the study. Infants commit express their problem. Observing subjective and objective symptoms of the patients applied homeopathic therapeutics.

PLACE OF STUDY The study was occurred at Lalbagh, Dhaka. Most of the patients associated in this study besides in Lalbagh and Azimpur area in Dhaka.

STUDY PERIOD 1st February, 2008 to 31st July, 2008.

SAMPLE SIZE A total number of 100 child patient, with different disorders were the instrument of the study, out of that 10 cases of common pediatric disorders elaborated in this dissertation.

During the 6 month study period homeopathic Therapeutic applied on 100 child patient and of that 66 patients are full cured 44 patients are partially cured and under treatment. 4.00 CASE HISTORY 4.01 CASE HISTORY NO: 1 INFANTILE DIARRHEA Definition: The passage of three or more loose or watery schools (taking the shape of the container) within 24 hours is defined as diarrhea. 4.04 Case History no-04. Ascariasis (Round worm infection) ASCARIASIS 1.

Definition The manifestation due to infestation by Ascaris lumbricoides are known and

Ascarissis. 2.

AETIO PATHOGENESIS: The infection by Ascaris Lumbricoids takes place by swallowing the ova

containing nature embryos passed out with the stool of an infected person. If fertilized eggs are swallowed by a human being these pass into the intestine, liberate larvae which penetrate the bowel wall, enter the portal. Straw, pass into the liver and lings and therefore by trachea and esophagus they reach the intestine. Ove appear in the stool of the new host in 2 to 512 months. 3.1 Clinical Features: Abdominal Pain, Capricious appetite, nausea, visiting, diarrhea, abdominal distention etc, may be present. 3.2

CASE HISTORY NO-8 PNEUMONIA Pneumonia


Definition: Inflammation of the lungs caused by various organism. Types: (1) Lobar-Involvement is segmental (2) Bronchi-Patchy distribution Acute Lobar Pneumonia It is an acute infectious disease characterized by toxemia, high continued fever usually ending by crisis and a homogeneous consolidation of one or more lobes or segments of the lung caused by diplodocus pneumonia. Aetiology : Age-All ages, sex- both, session- mostly in winter and spring Predisposing cause – (1) Previous attack of viral inflection (2) Low body resistance (3) Source of inflection- Tonsil Clinical Features: Onset is sudden: Symptoms- (1) High fever high chill and rigor (2) Pain chest (3) Dyspnoea (4) Cough with tenacious, gradually rusty sputum (5) Malaise, weakness, headache, loss of appetite etc. Signs: Toxi features-(1) Sweating, sunken cyanotic, dyspnoic, dry coated tongue (2) Tachy cardia (3) High temperature (4) Dysponea (5) Pulse/ respiratory ratio is altered (normal 4:1 may be 2:1.)

“Measles” [Morbilli or Rubeola] MEASLES [Morbilli or Rubeola] DEFINITION Measles or robeola is an acute, infections and highly communicable diseases marked by prodromal catarrhal symptoms, Koplik’s spot’s and a typical rash. AXIOLOGY Caused by a filterable virus and may occur in sporadic, endemic or epidemic forms. Age-all ages, sex-both, the transmission is direct; by means of droplet transmission is direct, by means of droplet infection. IN cubation is period 10 to 14 days. B.W CLINICAL FEATURES A.

face, neck, behind ears, forehead and progressing above downward, all over the body, light pink colour. (Pin head in size). Firstly macular is then maculopapulsr. C.

Stage of effervescence 1. Temperature falls by crisis or lysis 2. Rash fades from the face downward in the same sequence as its appearance
