Great Grammie Weeks’s Brownies

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 25-30 minutes

Serves 15-20

INGREDIENTS

• 4 squares unsweetened dark baker’s chocolate

• 1 stick of salted butter

• 2 eggs

• a drop of vanilla

• 2 cups of sugar

• 1 cup of flour

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Set the oven at 325.

2. Lightly coat with butter and flour an 8x8 baking pan.

3. Melt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan.

4. Place sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir in melted butter and chocolate. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour. Pour into baking pan.

5. Cook at 325 for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cut into 25 squares after cooling.

6. Serve with vanilla ice cream or fruit and sherbet.
