Liven up dinnertime conversation with a goofy challenge that encourages everyone to chat while they eat. Before your meal, have each family member secretly jot down a funny or outrageous sentence on a slip of paper (“I ate crickets for lunch today”), then place it under another family member’s plate. At the start of the meal, each player reads the message to himself, then tries to work it into the conversation without being detected. There are no winners or losers, but smiles are guaranteed!
