JASON BADGETT (FILM EDITOR) is a filmmaker and theatre professional residing in Kansas City. Jason studied Film and Media at the University of Kansas. He has been involved in multiple feature films, television series and documentaries, working as a production sound mixer and editor. In 2010, Jason joined the Lawrence Arts Center technical staff. As a theatre technician, Jason has served as a lighting designer, sound engineer, projectionist, and stage manager for a multitude of theatrical productions and events. Jason enjoys working with the variety of productions and artists at the Arts Center and in the Lawrence community.
RACHEL CROSS (MUSIC DIRECTOR) is a Kansas City-based singer, actor, harpist, and music director returning to the Lawrence Arts Center to music direct her fifth project. She maintains a voice and harp studio (now online), gigs harp, and performs (now virtually) throughout the Kansas City area and the Midwest. She is a teaching artist at the Lyric Opera’s after school arts program, Opera to GO, where she, where she specializes in the Estill Method and CCM for the flexible singer. Currently she is reading books, teaching lessons, performing, and hosting virtual choirs online for students in the Opera to Go program to keep the young KC opera community singing and creating! Her favorite credits include the Warner Bros’ Polar Express tour, understudy title role in the run of Mary Poppins at the Drury Lane Chicago, Adele in Die Fleudermaus at the Chicago Light Opera, and Skye in the touring cast of Paw Patrol Live!
AMELIA OSBORN (CO-STAGE MANAGER/ COSTUME DESIGNER) is currently a senior at Free State High School. At school she is involved in the orchestral, choral, and theatre departments, and is the Arts Advocacy Chair for the Thespian Club. At the Lawrence Arts Center Amelia has participated in the Summer Youth Theatre Leadership Program for the past four years as a performance and technical intern, and is a current member of PLAY12, the Lawrence Arts Center’s youth performance company. Most recently, Amelia trained through The Theatre School at DePaul University as a selected member of their Summer High School Training Program with a concentration in directing. Over the summer she received a superior rating from the Virtual International Thespian Festival competition in the Stage Management division with her work from the Lawrence Arts Center’s Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka. Recent stage management credits include All in the Timing (Summer Youth Theatre, 2019); Madeline (Lawrence Arts Center, 2019); and Wait Until Dark (Free State High School, 2018). Amelia is planning to pursue a BFA in Theatre Management, Arts Administration, or Theatre for Youth.
AMANDA PINTORE (CHOREOGRAPHER) is a director, choreographer, and educator focusing on movement and dance education, devised theatre, and creating theatre and dance performances with and for one to six year olds. She is the Associate Director of Performing Arts and Education and the lead coordinator for the Theatre and Dance for the Very Young program at the Lawrence Arts Center. She has an MFA in Theatre for Youth from Arizona State University.
ELIZABETH SULLIVAN (DIRECTOR) has an MFA in Theatre for Youth and K-12 teaching certification from Arizona State University. She is a community-based artist, teaching artist, director, and performer. Elizabeth acted with The Seem-To-Be Players, a nationally touring children’s theatre troupe. She served as the choreographer, lead facilitator, and actor for MADE Garden, an interactive art and play installation for young children at Mesa Art Center’s SPARK! Festival for Creativity. She worked as Asphalt Art’s Resident Artist at Phoenix’s Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development where she led homeless youth in poetry, spoken word, drama, performance, and digital storytelling. Recently, she directed, facilitated, and performed in the Lawrence Arts Center production of Rethink: I Am a Veteran, an original storytelling project focused on female veterans, as well as directing this past spring’s staging of The Snow Queen.
