Teen summer camps will introduce young artists to the Arts Center’s studios and classes through in-depth exploration of art mediums, techniques, projects and ideas. Teen camps are led by local artists, who provide insight into their own creative process through fun exercises and projects, exploring Downtown Lawrence and collaboration.

Drawing Loose

Cut loose! Explore drawing through quick ideation, collaborative art-making, observational exercises and experimental mark-making. We’ll practice intuitive sketchbook drawings and use expressive lines on large paper. Students will use various drawing media while embracing spontaneity and letting go of perfection.
