Spring Outdoor Cabaret in South Park

Celebrate the sights and sounds of spring in South Park with this outdoor cabaret production. Pull up a picnic blanket, grab a camping chair, and come along on a musical journey growing out of the darkness and into the light. Enjoy selections from Dear Evan Hansen, Beetlejuice, 13, Fun Home, Mean Girls, and School of Rock.
PLAY12 presents Shakespeare in South Park April 29 Youth performance company Play12 will perform 10-minute abridged Shakespeare scenes and monologues from the bard’s most-loved plays. Join us for this event as we celebrate spring with theatre in South Park. All audience members must reserve a ticket in advance.
Lawrence Ballet Theatre’s Annual Spring Concert on the 940 New Hampshire Street Stage

May 16 | 3PM Join the Lawrence Ballet Theatre for an outdoor concert in front of the Lawrence Arts Center. Celebrating its 10th season, the Lawrence Ballet Theatre’s annual spring concert will feature the beautiful waltz from Act I Swan Lake and the works of regional choreographers Jerel Hilding, Tristian Griffin, Paige Comparato and Cynthia Crews. Splash! A Drive-In, Socially Distanced Performance
May 22 | 10am, 1pm, 3pm
May 23 | 1pm, 3pm Welcome to Splash!, an outdoor, drive-in style performance for very young children and their families that explores the wacky world of water, soap, and bubbles! We invite families to pull their vehicles into a distanced parking spot. Check our website event page for all the fun details of this performance designed specifically for 0-6 year olds.
Performances will look a little different this summer. Maintaining health and safety is our highest priority as we create enjoyable experiences for our students, community, staff, and audiences.
• Masks are required for all staff, performers, students, and patrons. • Audience seating is socially distanced. • Production blocking, choreography, and creative decisions are made with student, performer, staff, and patron safety in mind. • All tickets must be purchased in advance.
