Our goal is not only to make the best classical guitars, bass guitars and flamenco cajones in the market but also to build honest and close relations with our clients trying to offer them the best prices. I am also proud to present our new product line, Nature by MR, which is the result of our love for the best quality wood and its sounds but also a desire of reducing the environmental impact of our production process. We are aware of the necessity to move to a more sustainable world and we are seeking alternatives to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible. Manuel Rodríguez Guitars Rich in sound, rich in history, rich in beauty... since 1905.

Tradition, exotic wood, sawdust and varnish smell go along with the large family that makes Manuel Rodriguez guitars. The company, which dates back to 1905, is nowadays the second oldest in the world and having been three generations of luthiers. Art, experience and tradition come together in Esquivias’ factory, Toledo, where the family business has been modernized to make affordable a product whose production remains entirely handmade. These guitars, the spirit of Spanish music, are made with all the care and attention of their luthiers experts in the manufacture of this instrument. Flamenco, classical and cutaway guitars are the three big wagers of Manuel Rodriguez that also offers flamenco cajones, ukuleles and even a modern model of bass.

Manuel Rodriguez uses woods from around the world to make their guitars. The white fir, cedar lightness of Honduras, the softness of rosewood from India or Madagascar, the density of the cypress, the amazing streak of budinga , the sapele elegance make the lines and curves of its instruments for a well sound and a unique aesthetic.

Manuel Rodriguez guitars are manufactured using traditional methods, in which every single detail is careful. A team of luthiers, with a consolidated professional background, are the main responsible for the construction of these instruments in an environment where humidity levels are neatly controlled. Our artisans make, with millimeter accuracy, each of the processes required to transform exotic woods in music.

Over recent years, Manuel Rodriguez has incorporated latest technology designed to assist the luthier in some phase of the development of the instrument, however, sanding, gluing, varnishing ... any of these stages remain performed through the manual skills of our artisans. This perfect balance between innovative technologies and the experience and tradition of our luthiers is added the use of the best woods in the world. The sound and the beauty of our guitars, depends greatly on its materials. For that reason, Manuel Rodriguez carefully choose each of the woods used in the construction of our instruments. Weight, density, strength ... the selection of the wood is an essential process as well as drying and readiness for use.

5) Varnished and polished.

Furthermore, our commitment to the environment leads to certify the origin of our woods, making sure that production and gathering meets all international legal standards. Manuel Rodriguez guitars are renowned for their softness and comfort when playing. The light sapele or Honduras cedar are used for -reinforced neck with ebony in some cases to ensure its rigidity over the years. The Indian rosewood or ebony used for the fingerboard and the German Alpaca frets. Hard woods like mahogany, cypress or Indian rosewood are also known for their rigidity, sound and, especially, their beautiful colors. We are aware that every detail counts to provide the best guitar sound that stand out for their elegant aesthetics. Manuel Rodriguez is more than classical and flamenco guitars. For those who desire to live an even more intense experience with an artisanal product, we have the most sophisticated technology to electrify guitars without losing a shred of their quality. This classical guitar has a look that can only be provided by walnut. With a top made of plain Spruce, the most impressive feature of this piece is its back side finish, a natural deep brown. This wood gives the instrument a rarely seen colour, because it is not commonly used. This model is also available in requinto size.

This guitar has vintage look thanks to the treatment of the laminated Bubinga wood that forms its sides and back. This model also has a robust Cedar top and neck, as well as an Indian Rosewood fretboard. The C12 classical guitar is also distinguished by its double crown inlay in top and sides.

Guitar built with a Cedar bodytop, which gives it a very pale brown color, almost beige. This contrasts with its sides and back, made with Mahogany. This wood gives to the guitar a great sound and an impressive red natural finish. Also available in senorita and cadete size.

C3 Ebony Eco

Category: classical guitar

Classical guitar built with solid Cedar top. This model has different personality thanks of its woods: recycle wood imitating Ebony. This wood gives great sound and impresive colors. The best detail is that we avoid cutting trees as a sustainable instrument. One of the differentiating features of this model C3 is that it has two white inlays, both on its sides and back.

This guitar presents a light colour with its strong Canadian cedar top, which is also used for the neck. However, model A uses another great wood, the robust Indian rosewood. This material forms its headstock, bridge, sides and back. This classic, which presents a colourful inlay in the rosette and gold plated tuners, comes in a protective plastic case.

Traditional guitar built with a solid Cedar top. This model C3 has its own personality thanks to the wood in its sides and back: laminated Cedar. This wood gives a bright color and a great sound. This C3 model is made with gloss finish.

C3 EBONY ECO

This guitar has two woods mainly: red cedar, which is located on top and Rosewood India in sides and back. Most interesting, however, that the neck, which is reinforced by a strip of ebony, which makes this model a much stronger tool than usual. Model C is a perfect instrument for musicians who have passed the basic level of learning, and, also, it has an ebony fingerboard. D MADAGASCAR

FC guitar is a model built with solid wood and glossy finish that is made from cedar or spruce top ( to choose). The material chosen for its robust body is Indian rosewood. It has an ebony fingerboard and reinforcement of the mast of the same material on the back. The most characteristic feature of the FC is the simple pen that skirts . Include hard shell case.

C SAPELE

FG India guitar is an instrument made entirely from solid woods. Its hallmark: its border with pen. Built with cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides and floor. The manufacture of this model has a higher degree of difficulty to incorporate into their feathers edges doubles that are built by hand by our luthiers . This exclusive model is a guitar design created by Manuel Rodriguez Junior, the actual CEO of the Company. The guitar is entirely handmade with super high quality woods with more than 25 years. The MR Jr. Madagascar model features a solid Canadian cedar or German spruce top (both options available) and solid Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. Its fingerboard is ebony built, its neck is reinforced and all its borders are also handmade with an exclusive Manuel Rodriguez pen-shaped pattern. This guitar is delivered with its own case.

This guitar is our jewel. Made entirely by hand with high quality woods, always over 50 years old which have received special care. This model is constructed with a solid Cedar top and Rosewood Rio (this timber is no longer sold) in its sides and back. Also, its fingerboard is built with Ebony, its handle is reinforced with the same wood and all its borders have double hand made inlays, leaving a pen-shaped pattern. This guitar is delivered in case.

Flamenco guitar built with a solid German Spruce top and sycamore laminate floor and rings. The processing of wood, gives a unified tone throughout the set , which makes it a balanced and consistent instrument in sight. The flamenco C3 is also manufactured with the handle of 660mm and is named after the illustrious guitarist Sabicas. It features rapper.

This flamenco guitar is made with German spruce top and a solid cypress in the back and sides. Its cedar neck is reinforced with ebony and a red, white and black inlaid. This excellent quality model is made with an ebony fingerboard. This flamenco guitar is handmade with a solid high-quality German Spruce body top and sides and back (inside and outside) Cypress, also solid and high-quality. Its ebony fingerboard helps give consistency to the entirely instrument. This model has color pen -shaped border into rings , floor , and mango. It includes solid case.

This cutaway guitar has an elegance and sobriety that can only be provided by walnut. With a spruce top, the most impressive feature of this piece is its later finish, a deep brown. This wood gives the instrument a rarely seen colour, because it is not commonly used. However, it gives this C10 model a very special sound. This guitar has a Fishman equalizer and also comes with a slimline case.

This guitar model it’s different from any other Manuel Rodriguez instrument. The treatment of the bubinga wood of the back and sides in his both versions, Natural and Vintage, gives a unique personality to this vintage style guitar. The top and the neck are made with solid cedar and the fingerboard with Indian Rosewood. The Caballero 12 model is also recognized for a special Manuel Rodriguez double border on top and sides.

This guitar is the cutaway version of the classic model A. Like its sister, it presents a light colour with its strong Canadian cedar top, which is also used for the neck. However, model A uses another great wood, the robust Indian rosewood. This material forms its headstock, bridge, sides and back. This classic, which presents a colourful inlay in the rosette and gold plated tuners, comes in a protective plastic case.

CABALLERO 12 CUTAWAY VINTAGE

This guitar is the cutaway version of the classic model B. It has two woods mainly: red cedar, which is located on top and Rosewood India in sides and back. Most interesting, however, it is the detail of its neck, reinforced by a strip of ebony, which makes this model a much stronger tool than usual. Guitar B is perfect for musicians who have passed the basic level of learning, and, also, it has an ebony fingerboard. This guitar is offered with MR soundhole.

A CUTAWAY

The D Cutaway Madagascar model is made with a solid Canadian cedar or German spruce top (both options available) and Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. Its fingerboard is ebony built and its neck is also reinforced with ebony.

The D Cutaway Boca MR model is a modern offer that incorporates the exclusive MR soundhole and our innovating Natural finish. This guitar is made with German spruce top and sides and an Indian Rosewood back. The neck combines an ebony fingerboard, cedar and a reinforcement on the back. Like her acoustic sister, the absence of the classic soundhole and the MR side mark give a modern and fresh air to this excellent cutaway guitar.

This model is the cutaway version of the flamenco FF guitar. It is made with German spruce top and a solid cypress in the back and sides. Its cedar neck is reinforced with ebony and a red, white and black inlaid. This excellent quality cutaway model is made with an ebony fingerboard. The unicity of this guitar resides in his back part where the cypress is combined with other types of woods giving a great personality to this instrument.

D CUTAWAY BOCA MR

Our MR acoustic guitar is characterized by rounded shapes and its bicolor body top. Made with German Spruce and a strip of Canadian Cedar, this instrument may vary from the woods with their sides and back are made. In the picture you can see a model Sapele, but the acustic is also made with Maple or Madagascar Rosewood. In addition, the MR acustic neck has a reinforcement with Ebony and has soul. It also has off-shaped mouth MR and natural finish. It has equalizer. This model is made to order.

FF CUT BOCA MR

The Maccaferri is our most exotic guitar, thanks to its shapes and its vintage finish,this model is ideal for lovers of jazz. The maccaferri guitar is built with solid Cedar or Spruce top and laminated Walnut in its back and sides. Its fingerboard is Indian Rosewood made. This guitar is made to order and can be ordered with ist body in Indian Rosewood or Maple. It comes with case.
