During Superintendent Dr. Anthony Lewis’ Listening and Learning Tour in 2018, hundreds of community members shared their priorities for school improvement. Lawrence Public Schools used this input to develop a ve-year strategic plan that re ects the community’s vision for the future of its public schools.

The plan centers on student outcomes: Lawrence Public Schools will ensure that students of all races, backgrounds, and abilities achieve at high levels, demonstrate profi ciency in reading by third grade and in math by eighth grade, and graduate on time prepared for success in college and careers.
