A Rally First of its Kind Yeshwantpur: India's firstever National Time-SpeedDistance (TSD) Rally Championship that is promoted by the Berunda Adventure Club with JK Tyre as the title sponsor, is set for a launch on 18 August in B a n g a l o r e . T h e championship, to be conducted under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) and offering a prize-money of nearly Rs 5m, has already attracted 30 four-wheeler entries from across the country in the expert classes who have registered and will participate in all the six rounds. At least 20 entries are expected in the local class, which is open for first-timers and companies based in the city that will be hosting a round of the championship. This will give any rallying fan the opportunity to participate and enjoy the thrill of motorsport in their respective comfort zones.
