Bangalore: Owing to power shortage, Karnataka is forced to purchase power from Punjab to meet the power crises. "We have no option other than buying power from other states like Punjab. We will start purchasing 300 MW daily from Punjab this Saturday itself," said the En erg y M in is ter S h o b a Karandlaje.
