About me: My name is Erica Willey and I have just recently graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design. For 25 years now I’ve lived in the same house in a little place called Jamestown, located in Michigan. My favorite author is Dan Simmons, I enjoy hiking and swimming, and I love to travel. I live a pretty simple life, but now that I’m a graduate I’m getting very excited of the possibilities waiting to happen. As of now my goal this year is move to California, create new experiences, and build up my dream career. It’ll be hard work, but I am more than ready for the challenge.

Sa Fri cke Š
About me: When Sara Fricke was growing up, a box of pencils, markers, or crayons was her favorite past-time. Every afternoon she’d run to the computer printer, grab a piece of paper and then a pencil and sit down to watch a popular television show what was then known as Mark Kistler’s Imagination Station. After many years of experience and love for art, she found a strong passion for the human figure. Today she is best known for her delicate style and sense of realism in her figurative work. Her recent works explore brain chemistry and unstable state of mind. She is deeply interested in psychology and elements of the mind that are not seen with the naked eye that affect moments in our lives. Sara graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design in May of 2014 with a BFA in Drawing. Sara plans to exhibit more artwork and someday work for a gallery space while continuing to thrive as an artist. Sara enjoys playing tennis in the summer sun, playing the piano and enjoying time with friends and family.

e are a free collaborative artist magazine that is made with the efforts of artist around Grand Rapids, MI and abroad. But we also have needs of our own and with the staff that we have on board we are not enough and do not have the man-hours necessary to keep up with the demands of the artist. The only option that we will have to resort to is to make our magazine free to read, but cost a premium up front for submitting content. Which defeats the purpose of a free magazine. That is why we are asking for user contributions and to further develop our magazine content, quality and integration with mobile devices.

ur objective is to put up a domain of our own to replace our flimsy .wix account. The problem with that is that acquiring and maintaining a domain is pricey because of contracting a web designer and maintaince cost as well as future changes and monthly announcements regarding our magazine publications and recent notable activities. About me: My name is Emily Veldman. I am a current graduate of Kendall College of Art & Design with my BFA in Illustration. Currently I am working at Craft House Gallery as a Program Director and Avenue for the Arts as a Event Coordinator. My illustration work is very colorful and is filled with interesting and creative characters. These illustrations parallel with a current young adult book that I am writing. I’m working on making each chapter into a zine that I can sell on etsy and at The Market on First Fridays this summer. I mostly work with oil paint and love using this medium to create a whole new world with characters, and settings that my audience can dive into.

About me: I have been a self-proclaimed author and artist since I discovered the wonders of pencil and paper at three years old. Though my first book was written entirely in scribbles and bound by scotch tape, I had never seen anything more beautiful in my short life. I was so proud, I even wrote a lopsided copyright symbol on the inside page. Now, at the age of 23, I’ve earned my BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and am going forth into the world to write and create illustrations for my seven-book series, The Weather Inside.

In the spotlight, Alastair Sinclair is a charismatic thespian and frivolous hedonist, pursuing all things pretty and pleasurable. When curtains close, however, an actor plagued by self-destructive passions hides a dark and devastating secret. Upon meeting Alastair for the first time, Zarah Furmann builds an intense relationship only to find herself bombarded with an otherworldly mystery. Her past with Alastair spans deeper than she ever imagined, and his secrets may sheath something too unthinkable to believe.
