Acuto street fixture design: Martini Staff
Body Die-cast upper and lower cap, tempered flat glass, aluminium optics, stainless steel screws and other components to ensure IP65 protection rating and insulation class II. The optics section can be opened from the top using a mechanical lock system requiring no tools. Rear mount (0° or 90°) suitable for poles having a top diameter of Ø60 mm. Light sources Tubular metal halide lamps (70 W to 250 W), high-pressure sodium lamps (70 W to 250 W), and ellipsoidal sodium lamp (70 W). Emissions Available in street and sidewalk versions.
Pole mount Ø 60 mm
Power supply Electromagnetic power supply with powerfactor correction capacitor and timed ignitor. All versions are fitted with a mechanical disconnection switch which cuts the electricity supply off when the upper cap is opened. Colours Extra-light grey. street optics

Sidewalk optics The sidewalk optics is ideal for pedestrian walkways and cycle paths, and can be combined with the street optics without interfering with road traffic. Allowing increased spacing distances, this optical system also provides energy savings. Lighting category S1

Street optics The street optics has been designed and manufactured to concentrate most of the light flux onto the road surface below, requiring less fixtures and reducing maintenance and power requirements. The optical system provides high and uniform levels of luminance on the road, while limiting glare. Lighting category: ME3a

Installation and maintenance The reduced weight and the elongated shape of this fixture make it suitable for safe installation by a single operative. All internal components are safely secured to the lower cap to allow for easy inspection of the electrical parts.

The optics section can be opened from the top using a mechanical spring lock system requiring no tools.
The upper caps swings open and is held in position with a side retaining arm to allow easy inspection of all electrical components.

To ensure safe replacement of components, the power supply is isolated by a mechanical disconnection switch operated by the opening of the cap.
